Anybody tried it yet?

I had the same problem yesterday, suddenly the earpiece had no sound, while the loudspeaker and plugging in a headset still worked. I noticed the battery draining more than usual too. I updated to ICS when it first came out for XS. Flashed to GB, doesn't work; back to ICS, still doesn't work. I was going to head down to service centre today but the problem disappeared when I woke up this morning. Weird. Don't know whether is hardware or software issueMaybe it's scared of going to service centre

Can I check the process for getting the replacement screen (yellow tint problem) for the Xperia S from the Sony Mobile Service Center (Bishan)?
I went down earlier this afternoon and the lady just took down my name and contact number, saying that they are 'registering' me and will call when the parts arrive. She also would not look at the phone nor verify the date of purchase...
Can I safely wait for them to call or will they conveniently forget to do so?

So some lucky guy got your screen thenNo worries, they will call you, eventually. Maybe after 1 or 2 months.
I did received their call for replacement of screen display. But I give it a miss as im going for TX.![]()

from ythe way they explain to u seem like hackcare type of customer serviceThat is my strong sentiment.
The lady did not explain that well, confusing me with two registrations: one online registration for warranty, and the other for the replacement LCD.
So I then asked if there was a online registration for the LCD, of which she let slip that they only 'register' affected customers when they go down to the service center. But I read earlier responses that the service center accepted the phone, then did the replacement (when the parts did come).
Plus she urged me to register the warranty online to get extra three months warranty, something that applies to registrations within 14 days of purchase of phone, of which mine clocks near three months.
So my big guess is that they may not replace the LCD in the near future.
Add: She didn't provide me with a service chit or anything, just verbal assurance that they will call when the parts arrive.
