131express...good luck to you guys.

Already have another thread that they didn't honour a bid for iPhone7 at a low price.

They gave excuses and pushed all to qoo10. Later another saga similar to those parallel car importer. Take money and Zhao.

i think most local sellers in qoo10 will indicate that they will ship the item in 2- 3 business days but in reality there is no local inventory. in the end wait long long.

Guys, can I check if OnePlus 3T has the function to duplicate app. Similar to the feature found in xiaomi and huawei whereby you can duplicate the WhatsApp app. Very useful if you are using dual SIM and need WhatsApp for both numbers.

They told me they'll inform all customer by end of this week leh. Oh man, I have a bad feeling about this deal.

Qoo10 sellers can sell items they that they do not hold ready stocks unlike Lazada which requires actual stocks.

Take the example of Madcow computer (july or aug) overselling GTX 1070/1080 stocks they will not procure sufficiently in months and more recently gamepro (late oct/early nov) overselling zotac graphics card preorders (though they did not explicitly say they sold preorders).

Best case would be to ask 131 for honest replies, whether they have real ready stocks or not simply.

After 1 week with OP3T

Bought this from Expansys on qoo10 when it first launched. Had been using it for a week so maybe I should give my thoughts on the phone to help bros out here.

The package arrived unwrapped (stated clearly by Expansys) because they pre-loaded OOS. Its the China model A3010. Found fingerprints on the device but I'm not too anal about it as I have expected it.

Hardware
Overall very solid build. I am metal uni-body lover so this phone totally fits the bill. The fingerprint sensor feels waayyy faster than my old ip6 and it unlocks the phone instantly.

Initially the penTile AMOLED brought out the OCD in me but I am starting to get used to it. Colour and brightness is superb in sRGB setting. The default is too blue for me personally.

Call quality is great and I have no problem on Singtel 4G. I'm not sure if I have VoLTE but I am not really bothered about it.

My only complain is the back camera that is sticking out. Picture quality is fine but I don't demand alot out of it.

Have yet to try out Android Pay so no comments. I don't have NFC sim so again, I cannot test it out.

In terms of batt life, I usually reach home at 6-7 and plug in. Before 10 it will be full so I unplug it and it last me for 2 days in the office and still have ~25% leftover on light usage. Mostly IM, FB and surfing. A little candle crush here and there.

One major bummer though, my win 10 PC couldn't detect my phone when I first connect it to transfer files. The phone's USB connectivity options doesn't show up even though the phone is charging. Eventually I used found out that the original OP cable doesn't play nice after I switch to a different cable.

Important note to bros, the driver files for the device is located in the phone itself. You should be able to see a second storage whenever you connect the phone to your PC. There is NO need to download any other driver.

Software
Running OOS 3.5.3 out-of-the box. As other bros mentioned, this is as close as you can get to stock android. OS is very snappy and I personally have yet to encounter any bugs. If you enable developer options and look into the running services, you will notice there is very little bloatware running on the OS.

Other stuff
Perhaps the biggest complain for OP users in SG is the lack of accessories in retail stores. I had to get my fix from qoo10 and tabao.

Ordered the nilkin tempered glass and black frosted case. The case fits nicely onto the phone and provides the necessary protection without adding too much bulk and weight.

The TGSP, on the other hand, is a disappointment. If you do a google, you will find that also all TGSP will have some sort of problem with the phone. (Bros have also mentioned them in this thread, so I'll leave you to google yourself). The OCD in me told me to throw the TGSP out the window and I eventually settled for the film SP that came with the case.

Now looking back, I kind of regret peeling off the original SP. I tried to stick it back but had great difficulty aligning it so I gave up.

I found the IQ shield but it is too pricey to bring in. I eventually found some SP on tabao that I wanted to try. Now waiting for delivery so let's see how it goes with that. I also don't like those full TGSP with coloured edges. (personal pref)

If all else fails, I plan to use the phone with the front naked.

Overall
Coming from apple after ip5, 5s and 6, I'd say I made a good decision on the OP3T. All the goodness of android and premium build quality at a lower price compared to pixel and ip7, its quite the bang for buck.

Although I wish I had done more homework on the SP. I also had to spend an entire evening transfering my whatsapp chat data from iphone (its really a pain). But that just me...

Hope someone finds this helpful.

Thanks for sharing. Is this TGSP problem you speak of related to air bubbles or touch sensitivity? I ordered 2 from taobao on a listing with 2000+ reviews, pictures look ok and are mostly positive.

It's due to the curved edges of the phone. Most clear TGSP either will not cover the full screen or the side edges will not stick and flip up. Only those with a colored border do not have this problem but they have other issues of their own.

My advice to bros here is to do your homework before spending the $$ otherwise you may not end up with what you expect.

Noted with thanks and indeed the one I ordered comes with coloured borders. Also got a sandstone black TPU case ($4+) together.
