Did anyone order their OP3T with top-up warranty?

Most Q10 resellers give free 1 mth warranty, top-up requiired for 6 or 12 mths warranty.

What happens if one chooses the free 1 mth warranty, and if the OP3T goes kaput after the 1st mth, can you still claim warranty via the Q10 reseller (probably shipping at our own expense to the reseller)?

Some of the Q10 resellers branded their units as "Export Sets".

Export sets are typically sold as is. If you need to buy warranty coverage can go for it.

Currently for Qoo10 you can stack 3% off $100 gift cards x5 (enets for instant automated approval than MC/Visa which are sometimes manually approved by qoo10 agents) + $120 off + $10 Mastercard item coupon. You can offset more than enough to cover the cost of "warranty upgrade".

My set is from expansys HK + 6 month return shipping warranty @ $506 (includes $10 FedEx). Requested for soft gold model so have to wait.

Anyone got a piece of camera lens protector to spare, will compensate fairly of course. Would order thru taobao but scared I'll scratch the lens before it comes.

Bad news. Guys beware. Just found out that the official OnePlus USB Type-C Adapter support OTG on Oneplus 2 but not Oneplus 3 or perhaps 3T also. See this youtube test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rbyv2oaSxeM

I need OTG for file transfer and image backup. Anyone knows which 3rd party USB Type-C to MicroUSB Adapter support OTG/file transfer? Which is the one you guys have been using?

Many of you here play with ROMs, may I check if anyone save your TWRP backup into a flash drive via USB type C to MicroUSB adapter and that in recovery mode, TWRP is able to recognize the flash drive as a storage drive for backup/ROM installation? :D

yep, it should work, have to mount the usb otg drive in twrp
