A few qns regarding a3010 set if you dont mind


1) Is the a3010 from 131express rooted since it comes with oxygen OS installed by them? It does mean alot to me cause i wont be able to sync my company mail on the phone due to some restrictions.

2) Is there a way to unroot it and still use oxygen OS?

3) For the a3010 that was flashed with oxygen OS, are we able to get OTA updates or do we have to manually update them eg: nougat update.

1. Actually a good practice is to always factory reset and wipe your phone clean when you first get it. This will clean any malware installed by nefarious shops. 1 step further would be to download oxygen os from oneplus directly and flash it yourself to be 100% sure. I also use it to sync my company email via VPN & it works fine. But it really depends on your company email implementation and whether there is MDM involved.

2. Yes u can. Assuming u don't use an apps checked by Safetynet, meaning u don't use Android Pay or Pogo then sure u can root it

Isn't that 4g+ for Singtel?

My Oneplus 3T (A3010 Chinal Version) always heats up quite badly whenever i use Flipboard, Carousell or even during long phone calls.. My Previous Oneplus 3 (A3003) model never had this issue..

May i check is mine a isolated case or other A3010 also heats up? Can any kind soul using A3003 Oneplus 3T confirm that their model doesn't heat up?

My 3T A3003 no such issues. Only when gaming does get slightly heated.

i upgraded t0 3.5.4 as soon as i bought the phone. Now I am downgrading it to 3.5.3 & see whether it has the same heating issue.

Guys not sure if you all have this problem, but my android pay only work when the phone is unlocked. On my v20 it works even when the screen is off.

well unlocked is good right, means it's more secure, else people can use it to pay for stuff if you lose your phone and the NFC is on

Mine gave an error.
