bros,

need some tips.
currently using 6S after selling off my S7 in mid 2016.

looking at a phone with a better camera compared to 6S, will 3T be an improvement in terms of the camera?

IMO for stills probably yes, comparable, but video no. fruit still got one of the best EIS around. Vid can be made better with a gimbal.

Anybody has problems with the mobile data figure?

It says remaining data is 5.66GB, when it should be under 2GB.

Monthly data is set at 6000MB, not sure why the billing cycle suddenly got reset? It is supposed to be reset on the 8th.

The figure is correct under mobile data usage where it shows 4.78 GB used.

It was correct until today.
Using OOS 4.0.2.

Need some help regarding high data usage on the OnePlus 3T. (OOS 4.0.2)

I just switched from an iPhone to the OnePlus 3T, and it seems like the data usage on the OnePlus 3T is unusually high.

For instance,
  • I closed all apps, turned on data, opened Outlook and viewed 3 email messages.
  • Immediately after this, I checked the data usage counter and it increased by approx 3MB (isn't that quite a lot for just 3 emails?)
  • When I check the data usage for Outlook under settings, it only recorded 0.94 mb. Strange.

Also,
  • Scrolling through 3 Google search result pages in Chrome eats up approx 2-3MB data.
  • Likewise for instagram, scrolling several photos (~7 photos) ate up 3-4MB data.

Is this amount of data usage normal? (I've prevented ALL apps from using background data and always turn on data saver)

Should I do a reset on my phone? I'm using a A3010 that I believe is a China set originally loaded with Hydrogen OS but flashed to OOS by the seller.

Just use as per normal and see if your data plan the same or different.
I don't exactly know the screen resolution of the iphone you're using since you just said iphone in general.
But higher resolution screens of course need more data to push.
Your email you can choose not to auto download attachments and images until you open the email itself. Alternatively change your email app altogether.
