Hello, just received my phone today and I have some questions.

So, I saw recently there was problems about battery drainage and overheating. So as for battery drainage, how to check on screen time? is there a app? same for overheating, how to check temperature ? app? if so what app to use? total android newbie here sorry

Settings - Battery - Screen

If you want to have a more comprehensive stats, use something like GSam Battery Monitor, etc.

How I kept my default screen protector on without going mad.

The edge of the case, eg Diztronic pushes against the edge of the screen protector. This causes the protector to lift off.

My solution is tape it in place using low tack tape.

Take a length of tack tape (usually matt). Fold lengthwise but not completely. Leave about 1 mm out. This is the sticky area that will go on the glass.

Trim to fit. Stick on the edge of the protector. Using a toothpick, push the rest of the tape, past the side of the phone to be gripped by the case.

Repeat for other side/s if desired.

actually i feel its the apps those pple install.

I have my phone for about 1 week, the battery life is amazing.
17hrs no charge, with 5hrs screen on time.

Never had any problem with overheating.
I dont use any task killer etc, just use my phone as per normal.

not sure if is this phone or nougat or the games but games load slower compared to lollipop, also sometimes connection time out
all 3 games i play having this kind of issue so maybe rule out games

i realise after updating, the phone has problems taking pictures in quick succession. after awhile it just wont snap any pictures. you can press the shutter button but no pictures get taken. I have to close and reopen the camera app before it works again.

the default camera app sucks
try another app
using the default camera app i had problems with panorama, the pics are not joining properly with distorted joints
used the google camera app works flawlessly

Didn't know default Camera is crap. Installed Google camera and seems better!
