How come China set so ex? (Pls forgive me if. I must search for the answer)
Just so you know, like xiaomi, local set take stock from hk. It does cover all band 1/3/7/8 used in sg 4g.does the hk version support band 8 ?
usa got 1 lte support sg
china got more.
More LTE band more support.more lte support means better reception?
More LTE band more support.
Us only one band, hence coverage might be not sufficient.

Different bands have different reach, means better coverage. Band 8 for singtel is more for within buildings if I remember correctly, I might be wrong.ok
but not sure if lte radio works that way

an enginer tried explaining
something to do with capacity n indoor/outdoor penetration
coverage is right not reception
but the science of it is alien to me
so more bands mean better coverage in a big country like usa or china
in singapore or even malaysia...does not matter
higher band means more capacity, bandwidth n better outdoor coverage
band 8 used by singtel is good as since only singtel is using it here, capacity is more than enough
interesting readGoogle and found this article written for UK for their telcos and the explanation of the different bands were mentioned.

Nevertheless, just get the china or asia set for better coverage. no point debating.
