Nice! Good to hear they are releasing the units, and glad that it worked out eventually for buyers. Don't have to wait too long. I cancelled the order in the end. Before i ordered I asked if they had ready stocks and whether can self-collect. This was dec 9th evening. They mentioned earliest self collection on monday, and then added that due to high volume tuesday would be better. In the end yesterday I tried SMSing them and got no reply. Decided to just cancel.

Hopefully they'll get better from this episode at handling a sudden high volume of order next time round. :s13::s22:

Just got home, my set from 131express was sealed with oxygenos. Can tell from the box that it has been opened and resealed to flash from hydrogen, they even included a free extra micro USBC cable

It's ok as long as they fulfill or honor the purchase.

Even big companies like qoo10 and lazada has issues handling the sudden volume increase.

What are the signs that show it has been opened and resealed? Are the signs obvious?

the plastic seal they put on is definitely different than the one oneplus uses, there are also some specks of dust under the plastic, hard to tell unless you have previously bought a oneplus 3 or look very closely, someone who received these sets as gifts will definitely not tell the difference. TLDR: not obvious but can be found if looked at closely

Thanks bro, but just found out it doesn't support OTG so I'll look for other brand instead. :o
Doesn't matter brand. Type-c male to micro-usb female adapters all for power only. Only type-c male to type-a female (PC usb sized port) can do OTG.

Guys..
Why is 131express so popular? Is there any risk buying from someone else like Modern Tech ($595)?
Also.. is this $120 coupon deal still available?
As for stocks.. isn't it safer to buy from shops like Mobile Square?
Sorry.. kinda new to this thread and I'm just looking to see if there's any good deal left to be shared :)

Don't think it's a type-c otg drive right?

If it is, then it's still a waste. Because non-type-c ones are much cheaper, and a type-c to type-a adapter is also very cheap.

And having a type-c to type-a adapter around is more versatile....
