that one fits perfectly but super fingerprint magnet.. that's the only reason why glass is better. even without oleophobic coating, it's still easier to clean

I removed the default protector and tried to apply a glass protector bought off TB. Regretted max because i kena the halo effect. Searched online but couldn't find a glass which fits perfectly. Any recommendations?

You may try tpu/plastic film type.

All? Search "一加3普通贴膜" "软膜". "钢化膜" == tempered glass so it could by why you only found tempered glass.
