oreo is out just when i monitor the battery life of 4.5.15.

anyway, for those complaining about poorer battery life, i notice no difference. will see how much i can get with oreo.

not the best SOT out there but it's unplugged for 2d 5hr.

Actually in my 4.5.15 before I'm always hitting 6hrs+ SOT. Normal use, data/wifi, games, Chromecast streaming. Let's see this stable Oreo.

I cant seem to update from oreo beta 2. Think i just flash fresh from recovery, at the same time can unlock bootloader and root. Have to backup my data first

If you're on beta you will not receive OTA of stable, only OTA of beta. So you either flash 4.5.15 first or just flash directly the stable version of oreo. But both approach needs to wipe your device.

Find everything on Oreo loading notably faster. Even the wifi when doing speed tests is faster and more consistent

Hmm perhaps it is android oreo default option and not oneplus.

Looking at how the oneplus 5 getting oreo update first and face unlock coming soon, all the more i wonder if its worth to get the 5t for $200 more just for 18:9 display??

hmm I think for pure Android, the function can be toggled under home screen settings, just that the oneplus launcher is missing it.

no big deal though, just a small hiccup

Actually there is already facial unlock by Google under Smart Lock settings... Under Fingerprint and security
