good lord....now wondering if i should go for HTC U11 or the OP5.....anyone here had experience with both phones?

me still undecided too, as the HTC U11 also got the discount. i read on reddit, HTC U11 seem to be a better phone, but the phone design is not the best.

It depends on what you need and how much you willing to pay for it lor. Both are okay phones.

U11 phone design is more unique and water resistance, screen higher resolution (and better quality), the camera is also better. You also got that squeeze thing which some people may find useful. But the phone is wider than the OP5, even though it's a bit only, can feel the difference when use one hand.

For me OP5 wins in a few things. Slightly better performance, nicer software experience, and battery life.

Overall I think the HTC is a better overall package, but if you want something cheaper, and can live without the water resistance, the poorer camera, and some of the other shortcomings, the OP5 can be a good option too. Especially now at this price with the Qoo10 coupon. But if you are looking to hoot the set from lazada with 1 year "official warranty", then mlmlmlml. HTC U11. lol.
