It works well in the dark too! But my primary use is still with the fingerprint sensor since it is in front.

Hopefully face unlock doesn't eat into battery life much.

did u turn on the light assist thingy? I find it's too damn bright so i had to turn it off. imagine using it in a cinema.. faint.

yeah unless u're in a really dark env then it won't work without the light assist, but it'll be too blinding also...

Face Unlock works, but how do I make it unlock without first turning on the screen? Ambient display mode is not sufficient, but literally wake up the screen before the Face Unlock would work, which makes it a bit inconvenient compared to fingerprint unlock.

face unlock is useful when u wear gloves and can't use fingerprint. but i can say to 99.9% of people it's nothing more than a gimmicky feature for this phone.

there's no reason for me to use face unlock when i've to press the power button and then pray it works. with one touch fingerprint unlock, it's 100% success even at complete darkness.
