Hi, pretty new to the fragrance scene. Have always been using Dior Sauvage as didn't explore much. Got tired of the scent as it's too heavy for me. Now using TDH Eau Givree and Channel Allure Homme Sports Eau Extreme. Waiting to Black Friday to buy Prada L'Homme Intense as I like it very much.

I would like to add 2 more to my collection, any recommendations for a mid 30s to use mainly for office and going out on weekends for our hot weather? Not a fan of over sweet/heavy fragrance, and would keep the budget at below $200.

Check Valentino Uomo, Givenchy Gentlemen or Dior Homme Line. Those are good office fragrance. Prada L'homme intense which you mentioned is also a good office fragrance.

If you don't mind vetiver, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver is the BEST office fragrance, period.

Don't need to wait till Black Friday, check legit resellers in Shoppee/ Lazada / Carousell ( be careful of fake resellers ) or Mustafa Center.

Thanks for your recommendations, will try to find and smell them.

Tried Dior Homme, I like the Cologne but reviews say it can't last long. Hence didn't get them.

Any legit resellers in Lazada? Saw Eclat Parfum, are they authentic?

Try Dior Homme Intense. :o

Eclat Parfum, Hyperfume to name a few of the legit reseller.

Got tons of fake ones, becareful. If you see they selling $300+ fragrance for under $100, ( especially Penhaligon's, Tom Ford, Byredo or Diptyque ) you know it's fake.

Nishane - Wulong Cha/Wulong Cha X can be around 200

A lot of legit sellers on carousell like scentman, tigergem, seoul_look, hyperfume

Maybe you can try:
Acqua di Gio EDP/Profondo
Prada's Luna Rossa Carbon
Issey Miyake's L'Homme D'Issey Pour Homme is a classic
Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal is nice too
Nishane - Wulong Cha/Wulong Cha X

Etat Libre d'Orange - You or Someone Like You, Exit The King, I Am Trash

MITH: Another Tea, Mystery For Him (made by Herault, the guy behind Aventus)

Some other recs: Montblanc Explorer Platinum, Hermes' H24 EDT

Many thanks for all the recommendations. Managed to try a lot more scents today while shopping. Actually found a few to be quite similar in scent, just a few notes different, e.g. YSL Myslf, Valentino UOMO, JPG Le Male, Azzaro Most Wanted. All smell good, but they're so similar that they don't wow me.

The Prada L'Homme Intense still continues to impress me and will probably just buy this first. Quite interested in the YSL Myslf Le Parfum that was released recently but it's not available in SG yet.

Thanks again for all the replies!

If you like Prada... have you Tried Prada Luna Rossa Black?
One of my favourite scent from Prada.

Valentino should try Born in Roma series
Armani can try Aqua Di Gio Parfum, Profondo Parfum.
Boss The Scent series pretty good.
Guerlain Ideal series.
Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir Parfum or EDP
JPG Le Male Le Parfum.
YSL L'Homme and la nuit de l'homme smells great but they don't last that long.

Yes I've tried Prada Black, but it's too heavy for my liking. Probably getting Valentino Born in Roma Intense and Azzaro The Most Wanted Intense.

This weekend Metro is having 15% off on fragrance, BHG have 10% with $200 minimum spend and 20% with $800 minimum spend. Can go down to take a look if not comfortable buying online.

YSL Le Parfum is out in the YSL boutique on Wednesday, you can go try it out. its a darker take on the Myself DNA, slightly more spicy sweet with the pepper and bourbon vanilla added in but feels its more suitable for a night time scent not as versatile like Myself EDP.

I love Born in Roma Intense. I have not tried Born in Roma Coral Fantasy yet. Heard people like that more.

Maison Margiela series are not bad. You can get below $200 at those discount shops.
By the Fireplace, Jazz Club probably strong for you.

Coral Fantasy does seems popular too, will also try it when I get the chance.

Just tried Y myself le parfum at our local boutiques. Opens very similar to the EDP and dries down to be a little more spicy. matured.

Chanel allure home sport superleggera has also launched locally at boutiques. Not sure what to feel about it. Pretty underwhelming Sileage when compared to Eau extreme. If u’ve already got allure home sport or the Eau extreme this is imo an easy pass.
On skin dry down - Can’t tell the difference of this vs allure Homme sport tbh.

Also managed to try YSL Myslf Le Parfum, agreed with what you mentioned, prefer it than the EDP. Though at $245, it's a bit expensive.

Also tried Valentino Coral Fantasy, a fresher take in the series. Still prefer the Born in Roma Intense.

I bought Diptyque Tam Dao and Maison Margiela By the fireplace.

Maison Margiela's Lazy Sunday morning seems not bad too.

Not sure why my Tam Dao EDP doesn't seem to last as long as the Maison Margiela By the fireplace EDT

I think this is normal? No disrespect to the brand, but almost all diptyque perfumes doesnt perform well in general, they have good scent profiles but just doesnt last or project much. On the other hand BTFP is known to last for a good amount of time. Dont let the edt/edp/parfum etc fool you into thinking that one should last longer than the other, Its the overall composition and ingredients in the fragrance that determines the longevity. Also your skin chemistry plays a part in it

Anyone here tried this unisex perfume..Pi by Givenchy
I blind bought a bottle of this but i don't think it's for me. Feels too mature for me to pull it off. It is heavy on the bitter almond note with hints of vanilla and tonka. It does smell classy and gentlemanly but i think only a certain aged person can pull this off well enough (somewhere between late 40s - 50s)
