Performance is not bad and for its price point I would say it'll be a safe blind buy. Opening is indeed similar to aventus but the dry down is more synthetic for me as compared to aventus. Overall still a good buy

Yes, dry-down more synthetic and clearly not as "smooth" as what u would find in more expensive frag.

Chanel is price controlled, best you can get is 5 to 10% off max and you bear the risk of getting a counterfeit.

My decant just arrived last week and been wearing everyday. Doesn’t perform well on my skin. Even tried spraying on my clothes at the same time. I need a stronger perfume.

Try xerjoff and parfums de marly at fragrance du bois in Scotts square. They should have a few that will work well in an office setting.

Can u recommend something to start with, which u have tried?

Try visiting Taka Level 3 for the Maven corner? They carry a good range of niche houses (from France, Netherlands, Italy etc) e.g. The Different Company, Eclat Libre D'Orange. Prices are quite fair especially during sales (e.g. Taka member sales). Got new stuff now and then too.

Same question, can u recommend couple of scents?

For xerjoff try naxos, uden and kobe. For PDM, try pegasus or layton. For mancera, imho, if you can get them below retail then it's considered a good buy. I have tried lemon line and cedrat boise. My money's with cedrat.

For Maven at Taka Level 3 , Etat libre d'orange (30% off now - couple of strong contenders in the range, just try them out) and The Different Company (try After Midnight or a few of the citrus/fresh scents) have very special scents. For good longevity, go for the high concentration Nasomatto which is really well reviewed - there is a special 20% sale on this brand this Black Friday weekend I think. Take a look if you are interested!
