No guarantees when dealing online especially for favourite brands to "chiong" like Chanel and Jo Malone. Even if authentic, high risks of very old batches since they are all grey market imports. Well if it's a discontinued/vintage item meant for collection, then "no choice" and understandable; but for existing frags I wouldn't accept an old batch for some discount. Really depends on individual ...:s12:

As you may know, Chrome is a classic fresh scent - very lasting but slightly "artificial" (some say metallic). I wouldn't say it is the smoothest or most natural smelling of scents but it is really not that bad. Projection , sillage is good for its category. Very different from Egoiste Platinum though! I'm not expert enough to describe but these are just 2 very different scents! - My take is that Egoiste Platinum is more sensual and tad more controversial too (either love or hate it). Chrome is the safer scent but less adventurous.

Chrome is not that rare and you can find/try it lots of places (Taka, Robinsons Orchard, Mustafa). Price is fair, few wks ago saw Robinsons Orchard selling the gift pack (100 ml plus one shower gel and a nice toiletries bag) at a gd price of $60.

Thanks for the intro. :) I was checking beautyfresh too, but it seems like their selection is quite limited... May camp for their next warehouse sale then hoot a bottle of Egoiste Platinum. :p

Actually I was recommended Azzaro Chrome, Jeanne Arthes Sexy Body, Nikos Sculpture. But I am one who wants to sniff at it to know if its something I like. The feeling will be awful if I don't fancy the smell on myself...
I used to go The Bencoolen (many watch shops) where the owner is a middle aged man. His shop collection is messy but huge. His price is ok ok. The other place I sometimes go is the People's Park Complex, either the level 1 shop by the ship entrance, or level 2. But their selection is really limited though... Where would you recommend where may be possible to have such selection? Thanks :)

Not so sure if you could find Jeanne Arthes Sexy Body and Nikos Sculpture locally. Have never seen them around personally...

Prices of Cdn can range from $19 at mustafa to $100 at a robinsons warehouse sale.
It's just the markup to suit their clientele type, unless people shop around or join forums like this, else they won't know if they are getting a bargain or overpaid by 5x.

All legit one. beautyfresh also on zilingo but best part is the discounts on zilingo even higher.

Actually for me, for the past many years ever since I started using perfume, I only buy from shops like Lucky Plaza, SDPerfume, Dollars & Scents etc and not from retails like Robinsons Tangs Sephora.

I think as long as the bottle has the sticker "Distributed by" or imported by the respective distributors in Singapore; I guess it should be authentic.

At least so far OK for me - since I'm using the Versace and Issey Miyake perfumes.

& now the latest addition to the "Creed Aventus alternative", at $58 it's really a good buy with good praises from my colleagues whom noticed I changed perfume :s13::s13:
