My recent fave - Billed as evoking a type of Eden, Gucci Bloom is a white floral created to unfold like its name. It's a white floral that boasts a trio of beautiful floral notes, with tuberose, jasmine and rangoon creeper (a type of Chinese honeysuckle) to create a bohemian bloom that treads the tightrope between vintage and modern. Try!

Also - Gucci guilty has a light pleasant fragrance of cedarwood with moderate strength. The scent is pleasant but doesn't have good longevity or projection. Try it!

Alternative Perfume Suggestio

Hello,

I am asking with regards to this perfume that I've used once when I was younger but it is too expensive to keep using it. I was wondering if anyone here knows any alternatives that smell similar to it, because I understand that this perfume's smell is not entirely very uncommon.

Here are the details of the perfume I'm talking about:
Brand: Serge Lutens
Name: Nuit De Cellophane
Volume: 50ml/100ml
Origin: French
RTP: S$270-280 (for 100ML)
Smell notes: Mandarin and Osmanthus

You can visit the website by googling the brand and name together. The website has more on ingredients and smell notes.

I hope that through this forum discussion, I'll be able to find a cheaper alternative to this brilliant perfume! Please help, thank you :)

Anyone knows what the price of Dior Homme Parfum is like in Malaysia?

Got a decant of it and it's such an intriguing scent.

How would you describe the scent? In a sentence.

Wah, a bit hard but let me try.

Heavy on lipsticky iris at first, then very heavy woods (mostly oud I think) and a little leather start appearing as the iris takes a backburner before the cedar creeps up and takes over in the drydown.

I think it's more interesting amd wearable than DHI which is just lipsticky all the way. It's definitely warm and opulent, but unlike what others say, I don't think it's that unwearable in the heat (unless it's extremely warm) as long as you stick with one spray. Don't really need more than that too. My friend smelled it from an arm's length away when I took out the decant (which hasn't been sprayed yet) from my bag.

Were you in the new building? Don't recall seeing it in the new building, but it was still in the old building when I went last month.

For the price, it’s definitely worth it.

I’ve been wearing it for the last few days on and off, I find it performs better in cooler temps as compared to being under the sun.

Doesn’t project far/much on my skin but sure do last.

I read somewhere (maybe one of the bros commented here before) describing it as a mixture of aventus and sauvage. I kinda get that as well though not tooooo much on the sauvage side

Anyone have the BUCEPHALUS XI.. Pls share yr thought.

chanel allure sport worth it?

good longevity right?

I don’t find the longevity that great. Above average, but nothing really impressive. It tends to disappear suddenly after about 3-4 hours.

Whether it’s worth it depends on whether you like the scent enough. It’s got Chanel quality.

Got the BUCEPHALUS XI last night.. It smells more pineapple and later vanilla. It dun project as good as CDNI sad to say. Because I got use to the harsh lemon opening and the beautiful dry down of CDNI, I am disappointed by the BUCEPHALUS XI..

Next I try layering CDNI then follow by BUCEPHALUS XI. I got this perfect mixture. It smell like a stronger more potent creed aventus. Nice sweet pineapple opening which CDNI dun have. The drydown is the same smokeyness and better longevity which I can't get with the creed aventus.

I liken Bucephalus XI to a rainy/cloudy day or night scent. Not that suitable for hot sunny days. I don’t think it’s worse. It’s just different.

If you want a really smooth Aventus clone, try Afnan Supremacy Silver. It’s smoooth. It’s how CDNIM should be in the opening. I layer this with Creed Aventus. I go crazy with the Afnan on my skin, then go 3 sprays of Aventus on my clothes. Works great.

If you don’t want the harsh opening of CDNIM but more performance than Afnan, try L’Aventure. Still very good.
