perhaps something interesting is on the horizon. Armaf Club De Nuit line is releasing new fragrances as per this link:

what fragrances do y'all think they will be a clone of
There's this fragrance review youtuber SmellyCat who lives in Dubai and he has a short vid showcasing the bottles(not an actual review of the fragrances)

Can't say i am excited for it. Armaf has milked the club de nuit intense man series long enough and these new releases are an extension of it. Its as though Armaf has no idea how to market or sell something unless they slap the club de nuit tag on the bottle.

Nowadays my money goes to Lattafa where i can get some absolutely bangers for $20-25 from shopee malaysian sellers. Don't get me wrong, these new armaf releases may turn out to be really good, but i suspect the prices will not be cheap. Local armaf prices has really gone to wack. I remember it was only last year when i bought Armaf Sillage from Aurel for around $32 but now its selling for $45??? Personally i won't pay more than $40 for clones no matter how good it is since any higher then its pushing designer fragrance prices.

Fruity / aromatic Regine's for men for today. Got pineapple so smell abit like Aventus but definitely not clone since it came out way before.

For Lattafa, I do have Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud. Smell like By The Fireplace. Any other good ones from Lattafa? Thanks.

Would want to get Supremacy in Oud :) now I know is nuclear power. Finally shifted all my barang barang to new place. Putting on a light citrusy scent for the evening. Indifference for men from Panouge.
I tested bade'e el oud before and i would say supremacy in oud has better performance even though smell wise both are 95% similar. The afnan has insane projection and sillage. For better or worse, people around you will definitely notice the scent. I would say the afnan is a more refined version of bade'e el oud, that is if newer batches hasn't been watered down or reformulated.

What kind of scent profile are you actually looking for? For lattafa, easy to wear scent would be Ramz Silver which is clone of JPG ultra male. Its sweet powdery and all day all weather kind of scent. For office setting, can consider Fakhar silver(or somestimes called fakhar black). Its a invictus/Y edp like blue type fragrance. But for me the real hidden gem is Qaa'ed. Its not really a clone of anything but is compared to Issey Miyake Nuit d Polaris and Dunhill icon absolute. Warm spicy leathery oud scent. Very masculine. Only for folks who can take oud scent but boy its so good for so little money. Notable mention, for those who like heavy smelling scent aka "everyday of my life is a funeral" kind of dark depressing scent, can try Maahir black. This one no joke.....the moment i smelled it the rest of my day got ruined.

wow you like got own every perfume haha. Was intending to get ombre leather, and then I heard about Lattafa and it's clone, Velevet oud. So i'll probably get that. Seems like oud is a very polarizing scent

No lar....not all i owned. Some i tested out at Jasina. I used to have a 30ml bottle of velvet oud but that was some time ago and i kinda forgotten exactly how it smells. But from memory i think its more a clone of TF tuscan leather than ombre leather. Oud is polarizing. Never safe to blind buy oud based fragrance.

My colleague gave me a decant of millesime imperial - it starts off fruity but after 20 minutes I can't seem to catch a whiff of it anymore, it seems to have faded after 1 hour in, almost 0 projection

Some fragrances scream old school but this KL Homme from Karl Lagerfeld is one smooth cinnamon and vanilla combo. Too bad only have the mini.

You guys hunt for hard to find fragrances?

not a fan of it either.

If to splurge have to smell nice + beast mode projection + long lasting.

Does anyone know where in singapore can test Dior Sauvage Elixir? Been eyeing this for sometime but i got no idea how it smells. Have relatives going to europe so thinking of asking them to get a bottle for me if prices are cheaper.

IMO, Tom ford oud wood is the safest oud fragrance.
