You might want to go to Mustafa's to try 4711 Original after trying Tom Ford's NP at Tangs...

To me they smelled 95% the same...and yet over 10 times the price difference.

I got a few samples yesterday and today I tried on Creed Green Irish Tweed.
Ok, I got the immediate comparison to Cool Water that everyone talks about. So I was wondering why anyone would pay premium to get GIT. After the first hour as I was going out to look for lunch, that's when the magic moment came and there was sooo much more than the Cool Water one dimensional scent.
The heart notes came through soft and refined and I'm not sure what specific notes I detected but the whole symphony was wonderful.
Now I'm feeling good that I've got a whole bottle of GIT coming my way. Otherwise, I would have just gone out and bought Cool Water.

Yeah, I'm going for a bottle of GIT too. I tried Himalaya, it was good too. Also tried Virgin Island Water - Too coconuty, reminded me of malibu coconut rum. But GIT is definitely the better of the light citrusy fragrances.

Guys any recommendation for daytime scent? I'm currently rotating between MFK Aqua Universalis and DH Sport (bottle almost running on empty) been deciding to get Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche by the reviews that its got. Any recommendations? Niche or designer will be fine.

Neroli Portofino is quite sharp. Someone compared it to 4711 and I can see the connection.

Honestly it smells weird to me. However, I'm willing to give it a second try some time later on, after all A*men smelled strange to me at first too but after a couple more tries I actually liked it and bought a bottle.
