Hi, just upgraded to note 5, there is this "device security", is that KNOX? Is it advisable turn it on or best leave it alone. I remember there were some issues when in Note 3 and I never turn it on then.

If you don't use KNOX then no point turning it on and install it, taking up space.

2 days back .. sleeping beauty liao but i press the power button then fingerprint to unlock the phone and I got the sleeping beauty. I kinda forgot to press the home button and hold my finger there for the unlock. So if I use the hold home button thingy, I might not have gotten the sleeping beauty ?

I dunno *sigh*

Still have sleeping beauty issue... I posted this a few posts ago and someone also posted encountering sleeping beauty also using this "method"...

So, regardless of unlocking method, the phone is "lazy" to wake up...

Someone posted to disable weather notifications. I've tested out from saturday night until now, no sleeping issue yet. Still need to monitor. You may try it out:

Setting> application>weather> turn off all the weather notifications.

Keep it a try. Good luck!

I'm using Note5 32GB Silver, and I have never gotten any sleeping beauty issues since day 1. I did debloat most of the stuff in the phone though.

Yup, disabled. I used Package Disabler Pro, there's a thread on XDA on how to go about it.

All the way I disable weather notifications for all my phones including my previous Gold 64GB Note 5 ... sleeping beauty happens na ..
