Sorry, I mean the update package 303.31mb, is it recommended or latest? I saw some feedback in earlier posts that they had issues after the update.
Do you have any info about Note5 battery replacement after warranty period. How much do we need to pay for replacement.
Update already, restart the phone again may help.
Got new ota update 37.16MB
see only the Baseband got updated, security patch level still no change at October 1, 2016.
How come this update never up the security to fix all those vulnerabilities? http://security.samsungmobile.com/smrupdate.html
A bit worried cos recently am a victim of CC fraud. Now got phobia using Samsung Pay and bank apps.
Samsung shld be more prompt in releasing to us those monthly security patches if they're truly serious about users security!
You are referring to android security patch. Knox has a separate security policy which updates itself and Samsung pay will not run if your policy is obsolete.
Moreover, Samsung pay involves tokenisation and other security mechanism which will only work when the bank authorises. Basically both sides must approve before a transaction can proceed.
Your cc fraud will be unlikely due to Samsung pay..

Thanks for replying, most of us knows how it works that's why we use it.You are referring to android security patch. Knox has a separate security policy which updates itself and Samsung pay will not run if your policy is obsolete.

NO, I am referring to SAMSUNG android security patch. Maybe I'm oversensitive here, without the 'SAMSUNG' in front is like downplaying Samsung's responsibility to provide users with security patches. You are referring to android security patch.
regret using a 32gb note 5. now everytime my phone capacity so full and thinking of transfering pics out also so sian. some pics i prefer to keep on my phone~
cant wait for S8 to launch and hopefully got microsd support~
that's why I bought 64GB for my note 5
think nowadays 64gb also not enough.
I have to keep my phone free from apps, cannot install games etc. too many video and photos~
Note 5 is a pretty good phone man. If not for capacity, it's like not really necessary to upgrade.
