I'm not sure if things have improved, how is the heat from wireless charging? It's usually damn hot, worse than quick charge.

It's not a Samsung phone if it doesn't have the sleep of death! It was on the Note 2, Note 4, and now Note 5.

Sony xperia even worst. Literally sleep amd never ever wake up...

Any user test usb-otg connector especially those microUSB end mini thumb drives ( works similarly as usb otg). Works very well with ex S6edge

I've used the sandisk dual drive 64gb on the Note 5, works well. Transfer speed noticeably faster compared to Note 4.

S6 has fast wired charging 1hr 20 mins i think, but no fast wireless charging (3 hours?).
Note 5 wired charging is 1hr 30 mins, and fast wireless charging (2 hours). Those are the times given by samsung of course. I can't test cause bo wireless charger. lol.

From what I was told, you put S6 on the new fast wireless charger also no use, still normal speed. you put Note 5 on S6 wireless charger, also normal speed. Only Note 5 with the new fast wireless charger will get faster wireless charging.

I'm guessing it's the new faster qi wireless charging standard announced a while back.

Played with Note 5 for the first time this morning.

Overall, good design with good feel, I must say.

However, if only it has a bigger screen of 5.96" packed in such narrow body.

Wasted, samsung. Really wasted to sticked to just 5.7". Else, it will be a good phablet for those who don't care about non removevale battery and no SD card.

Touchwiz, nothing refreshing as usual.

5.96" will be too big for most folks. 5.7" in current body is just nice.

Tried 3 x Spigen Liquid Crystal.... only 1 fit perfectly and not cheap.

Bought Lantone clear cover instead. Love it when i was using my G4. Same for Note 5 as well. Fit nicely and cheaper

Anyone else notice that while listening music, got subtle scratching sounds like those DJ remix kind. Not present in Note 4 previously.

Using default music app and mid range earpiece in both handset previously

Didn't happen to mine, in fact i think the sound quality is much better than note3 & 4

Thought the Note5 supports quick wireless charging. So need to invest in another Qi charger?

By the way how to check if phone is using Sony or Isocell? Guess most likely Isocell on most of our phones or maybe all of them.

You mean you put your Note5 on your bed or in your pocket and it charges itself because it supports wireless charging ?

Hope this will come true in the future
