Any feedback on the low - light performance of the Note 5 cam? Went to the store to take a look at the phone but cant quite tell how the cam will perform in low light when the store is so bright. Lol. Saw some clips of the video capabilities. Looks good!

Sony low light is definitely better. Note 5 low light I think same as note 4 and s6 la.. Not bad by Samsung standards but not the best out there

I have not doing that, will your telecom charging you one time charge if you re-activate again ?

I have another question, is it not good to have the VoLTE to be activated on your phone ?

Like I have said earlier, the icon will only disappear after you have asked Telco to deactivate the service. You cannot disable VoLTE via phone settings. The icon will still be there if you only "disable" from phone settings.

VoLTE uses your 4G data. But it will not use up much data. Very very small data use as your call will not use a lot of data. You will use more data when surfing the web than when calling.

Note that VoLTE will only work if the person you are calling is also using VoLTE. Otherwise, the call will drop to 3G. For example, you are calling someone's mobile number and that person has VoLTE, then the call will be using 4G. If you are calling someone's office number and the phone is not a VoLTE-enabled phone, then your call will not use 4G but will switch to use 3G instead.

VoLTE, because it uses 4G, will have faster connection. You will dial through faster compared to non-VoLTE calls. The waiting time to hear the dial tone will be faster (almost instantaneous) and you will have better clarity over your calls.

I am not an expert at the call technology, just my experience from using VoLTE. Apology if there are any wrong information being presented.

according to Singtel FAQ on ClearVoice,

Q. Will 4G ClearVoice calls use data from my bundled data allowance?
A. 4G VAS is required to access the 4G network. No data will be deducted from your bundled data allowance for the use of 4G ClearVoice.

Have a weird bug. I have a folder with games inside my "Apps" page. Today when I go see, the folder disappeared. But still the games are all still installed on the phone. Still accessible using s-finder, can play and all. Phone shows they are still installed. Reboot does nothing.

Is there a "hide" feature I'm not aware about? Hahaha.

Which launcher are you using? If it's TW maybe trying hitting the sort function on the app menu

the battery life is considered good as the display is QHD plus battery size of 3000mAh.

personally, my usage is just browsing and music (via speaker/earphones), on nova launcher as its cached background process is only 60 MB ( fluctuates) compared with TouchWiz of 100 MB.

my complains on this flagship, physical home button ,battery standby is not good which likely to be caused by the number of samsung bloatwares (though they have cut it down). battery dropped 1% every 90. mins last night when I wasn't using it. Android OS is the culprit, which might be related to the bloatwares.

as long as each % is able to last 6 mins of screen time, its good. which means about 8hrs at 20% left.

of course I have spent a bit of time disabling a number of apps.

Need help, guys.

Used Smart Switch to transfer data from my S4 to N5. Stuff on my S4's sdcard got transfered ok. However, Contacts, Messages etc all failed to transfer.
On my S4, it says Complete everything is done. But on my N5, it says 'Savings .....' and it freezes there.
Can anyone guide me please?
try download SHAREit app to transfer

Thanks so much for the information. Do you remove that service from your line ?

just realized my favorite app "smart data switch" is not working with lollipop. it works with KitKat though.
what it does ,it off the mobile data in seconds the moment the screen is switched off. and activates it within seconds too. it really helps on standby. no wonder my standby sucks.

Would like to know this too.

Btw battery life aint good for me... Maybe it's because it is the first day... Hope it settles for the better.

I nv ask if there r any re-activation fees but i doubt so as it comes with 4G i believe. Previously on Note 4 with VoLTE, i always got calls dropped halfway so i cancel it.
