Oh yea. 574s, the always hot seller of those who wanna start their NB shoes collection. But the 574 has too many coloursway to even follow them all.

But i'm more of a fan of the Abzorb and Revlite technology than the Encap technoogy. Encap is kind of stiffer, while Abzorb is my liking. Revlite for prolonged standing is kind of tired cos of the exceptionally soft and lighter cushioning.

Ermmm although theres lot of 574 seasonal release but all made in vietnam/china,lousy material used.....USA 574 is rare or u can go custom for youself,& most usa 574 are collabs release...
which retail u are in?Have LE in there?

Different 574s from the Asia batch also got different materials used. Just compare the recent released 574 Sole Pack and the Suede and Gum Soles. So much different in the materials. Even the recent released/revised MRT580, the grey and Navy colours priced at $169 also better feel and materials used compared to the normal Red, Blue and Grey coloured ones.

Hopefully Singapore New Balance can bring in the custom 574s. HAHA. Just like how Nike brought in NIkeID. I work New Balance lor. LE and Leftfoot are our partners as well. HAHA. Close friendships.

996 is kind of narrow for me. I wearing size 12, so the 996 looks very lengthy and narrow, not very nice. 998s are my current favourites from the Made in USA side and the 1500 from the made in UK side. Asian factory i'm rockng the MRT580 Red, de revlite is extraordinary. Hehe.

To detailing, definitely is NB Japan and NB Korea who wins heads up. But the 580s are revised and brought in from NB Japans which ain't on the high side of price.

I saw the 998 mint on the webs. Was surfing ebay for cheap kicks and that came out with the price tag of the mids $300-$400+. Crazy, but the colourway is sick! The Oshman's 1600 that you cop also very nice! Collabs definitely is a victory, but damn limited in quantity in Singapore.

NB collabs are always sold in LE and Leftfoot. NB Concepts store are more for the common colourways and models. More affordable for consumers. If want rare and limited stocks, online and overseas are the way to go. But the shipping not very worth it though. Unless i really see a damn nice colourway, got my size and super limited stocks den i will get.

Nice to have a discussion with u ^_^
So far for me shipping from usa back here using 1.5kg a double-box sneaker weight, express shipping 3-5 days is usd25,still consider cheap.UK/europe shipping is much more expensive,japan/korea also expensive ard 50sgd.
Do u follow any sneaker groups locally or oversea?
If u have fb,i can invite u to our groups, all play collabs 1,all fun & nice ppl.Just pm me your name to add.But we only have a few singaporean sneakerheads there, most are aug mo...
Oh the oshman,i ordered directly from their retail in japan, singapore only have 13 pairs for sale LOL,it very limited,1 store in usa have 8 pairs only.Every mth i cop at least 4-7 pairs collabs, some i get 2 pairs if very rare, but cost are high...
I have sneakerhead frds in usa/germany/uk/italy/netherlands/most of europe & japan to help me cop these collabs if not will be paying ebay insane price......LOL

U r the extreme! HAHA. Me just started out nia. Still kind of little sneakers. Long way to go. But i dun mind joining the group so i can view photos of those nice kicks.

The oshman is nice, but not really my style. HAHA. Cos i'm a frequent jeans wearer. I like my sneakers and jeans to have the contrast instead of blending in. So the Oshman's 1600 were blue so i skipped it. Hehe. How much u paid for the Oshman 1600? Sgd retail was $199.

True la. Cos those common collabs also brought in by New Balance SG. But those limited rare collabs, Even Singapore NB also cannot get their hands on them. SOmetimes if leftfoot and LE do their own scouting in Japan and Korea and overseas to get them for themselves de. I doubt the mint 998 will reach the shores of Singapore. If not it will be chaos for the sneakerfreaks. Just like the Air Jordan 4 Green glow also sold out damn fast, to name a few. HAHA.

Im sorry to tell u this,u know nothing. And if u know nothing about the sneaker game, just ask questions nicely, ppl will tell u nicely. Not just go criticize....

Limited edition NB made in usa/uk i also have alot....but high resale value wise are these asics collabs.Even made in usa/uk NBs are lower in resale value overseas than asics made in vietnam.real sneakerheads will know what im talking about.......we are talking euros/pounds/usd....not sgd.

Also made in vietam asics is still a lot better than made in china NB.Asics GL3/GLV/Gel saga although made in vietnam, are highly comfy, comfyness can fight against made in usa/uk NBs....Maybe u would like to check it out too....
And 1 more thing, for limited edition or collabs release,Asics collabs wont release more than 500 pairs, most of the times is between 100-250 or 300 pairs,NB collabs release most of the times over 500 pairs, only a few very rares release is below 250 pairs. That already makes Asics collabs at top resale value than NB collabs.

Btw,go back 2 page u will find a post on a made in usa NB 998 tannery mint with special boxset which is extremely limited & rare release,u wont find in any singapore LE or leftfoot or whatsoever!Even this NB 998 mint cant have a higher resale value than a rare asics collabs release!

newstranger, criticize abit then run off ar?!want more lesson from me?!

This is a sharing thread. People has the right to comment as did you on other sneaker brands that you do not "re-sell".

I personally would be interested to see your on foot shots, instead of just grabbing picts from the web and turning this thread into your personal Asics and NB reseller thread.

Nothing personal against resellers, I get a lot of my stuff through resellers on Ebay, cause there is no way some stuffs will ever be released locally (i dont consider LE as its name implies). But then again that doesnt mean everything you re-sell is "Heat" and other brands or other people's comments means nothing.

Oh, by the way, when every collab is called "heat", for a moment i thought NB and Asics signed partnership with Miami Heat.........

Im trying to keep them all ds thats why I have to use some web pics + pics tag with my name or nick to prove i had the thing with me.I also did not post any price listed in this particular thread.Only post what I coped recently.
As for heat, not all LE are heat, but most of the collabs i posted are consider heat,i still have a lot more which was not post here....

I would urge you to consider wearing them instead of keeping them DS, unless your intention is to re-sell them (again, nothing wrong, more than 50% of my kicks are from re-sellers).

I used to keep some kicks DS, but after a few years, the shoe will just crumbles as the glue dried up and the whole shoe just fall apart. It will come to a point whereby the shoe becomes nothing more than just a "display" item. Cool if thats what you want, but my personal thoughts is that its every shoe designer's dream that he/she sees people wearing their designs on their feet and love wearing them, be it for the function/comfort or for its looks.

I got so many pairs of shoes. Most are new. And recently went to see, most are splitting already. The sole.

How to prevent this huh. Besides wearing them
