Good morning!

Mykita frames are usually around 500-600....
1.6 duravision plat+photofusion should be around 360.(take note no blue protect)

No comments on location :)

This kind is those local lenses. Not as much recognition as ess, Hoya, zeiss etc. But they are fine. Differences is usually the multi coat and clarity. But probably more cost efficient if you aren't picky about clarity issues👍🏻

Hi all,

My degree is around 850, with an astig about 250.
I'm looking to make a pair of specs with decent lenses. I do not need a branded frame, just a simple one would do.

Also, it would be preferable if the spectacles could be done asap as I just broke mine.

Currently a student with some part time jobs.

Could someone let me know my expected price, and recommend me where I should make my spectacles?

Thank you!

Hi,

I don't know where you stay, but if you are staying in Yishun, probably I can recommend you to blk 235 optics, opening on everyday except Friday.
Address: 760235
You can quote saying introduce by shuxian, she will give you a lower price.
She is honest and will not recommend you to go for expensive stuff.

Personally, im on 250 degree and 50 asti for both sides and I doing on crizal lens and it cost me for $160. I have check for you for the boss, for your case if is single vision it will be $120 including frame with 1.67 index and $200 for 1.74 index with frame. 1.74 index is thinner than 1.67 index. But both r thin lens already. As certain lens price has a capped of degree, she has another japan brand lens which is cheaper than crizal you may wish to consider.

She also can get the spec ready in 2 days time you can request.
Hope it helps.

Good evening! Lenses you are looking st somewhere around 160+/- it is a 1.67 high index lens. Because you have a high myopia and astigmatism Too. Usually lenses normal will go up Til -2.00 for the limit. Thus if yours is exceeding the range, you will have to get a RX(customised lens). Frame wise then depends on which you chose! Then you will know the total price!

Just made a pair of specs at a Toa Payoh neighbourhood shop. Total damage $280 for cheap frame + 1.67 Crizal Eyezen.

Think got promotion for major brands as well. Can bring own frame there too.

Your night vision will be especially bad. Looking at signboards at night, double vision, more flares/halos when looking at lights. Not really advisable...
If you feel uncomfortable with that much astig, request to your optom/optician to reduce it according to what they deem fit for comfort, they will act accordingly:)

If degree is ~500-600 and Astigma ~200+, what will happen if I make a spec without Astigma?

Will there be any side effects? Astigma worsen etc etc?
