Looking for a metal or titanium frame, going for simple design like my old pair. Any value for money recommendations?

My degree should be around 275, for the lens u recommended how much will it be?

Will have whitish blurry image after wearing for extended period, either need to look at far away or rub the eyes. Sometimes is due to the eyes getting too dry, as the air con is blowing at my direction .

Hi I am asking about progressive lenses.. If I started to have difficulty seeing near. Mine age is 45. If I made progressive lenses now will my far sighted and near sighted continue to become worse? I heard from my friend that after age 40 farsighted will not get worse only near sighted. Is it true?

U will be there throughout the whole day?

I think is due to dryness that’s why I switching to glasses

Sometimes will develop the ptosis or lazy eye look alike which is what I’m concerned about.

Hi bro,

by far sighted, i suppose you mean Presbyopia (Laohua) & near sighted is Myopia?

If a person see blur at distance, he could have one/mixture of these 3 conditions:

• Myopia (- Degree e.g. -1.25, -2.50, etc)
• Hyperopia (+ Degree e.g. +1.50, +2.50, etc)
• Astigmatism

As we progress with age,
Presbyopia (Laohua) & Hyperopia will worsen
Myopia will usually stagnate or even become less.
Astigmatism is usually not affected by age

With or without progressive lenses, your Presbyopia will continue to worsen due to deterioration of your eye muscles. Progressive lenses can only slow down the rate of deterioration.

hi, i gotten myself carl zeiss driving lens but i find that the reduce glare 'function' from lights doesnt seems to be like what was shown in their ad.

anyone has experiences?

It basically helps to reduce glare from oncoming traffic at night but not significantly. Did you try to compare between the new lens and old one?
not while you are driving, say you get out of the car and do a comparison.

Hello, am a student for context. Think my right eye has some astigmatism as my eyesight is blur at all distances when covering my left eye, but left eye almost perfect eyesight. Wanted to get specs to correct this because I realised I'm starting to need to strain my eyes to see lecture slides in lecture theater and I would like to ease this discomfort, as I get headaches sometimes from straining my eyes too much. However went to owndays and the autorefractor returned mostly normal results, and optician dissuaded me from getting specs because I didn't wear specs before and would get a headache during the adjustment period. Should I get a second opinion? Thank you!

When you mentioned normal, did they tell you what your prescription roughly was? If you feel your eyesight is blur, I don’t think you should be turned away. And getting headache in adjustment period like what user eyezone mention shouldn’t last too Long.
I would suggest you get a second opinion.

-abit lose focus (intermittently) after looking at computer for long time
-room lamp looks abit blurry when staring directly (too many lense scratches?)
