VA means the best your eye can see, so even increase/decrease, wont improve the it.

VA is affected by changes to the crystaline lens or back of the eyes, E.g. AMD, Cataract



Don't see any reason for them to do so. Unless there's more than -1.75Ds difference in prescription, when they don't know how to handle the visual discomfort due to image size difference, they will reduce the prescription.

Thanks, means my right eye has been my weaker eye all along. Difference is about -1.25 based on recent eye test and its only in my right eye. Left eye no change in - power. All the years my - power increase in tandem left and right eye. So suddenly this recent optometrist i visited told me my right eye increase so much im shocked. Thinking maybe right eye - power has been intentionally reduced all these years.

Hi guys, anyone knows if it's possible to get quality screwless frames for like an affordable price (Like $300-ish)? Those ic Berlin, Lindberg frames are too expensive, I might as well just get branded frames like my current Braun Buffel and just replace it every 2 years. I just find it mildly annoying that regular branded frames tend to be more fragile (usually breaks at the hinge area), but can't find myself justifying spending more than 3x the price. Appreciate if anyone can provide their opinion/suggestion. Thanks!

Usually Lindberg frame, with proper care, could last for years. The frames is about 800..
Oh so your prescription is quite high? Since you mentioned 1.74 index?

Not very good as I mentioned its quite fragile. Need take extra care. So looking for more solid options like ic berlin as I have a pair of it too. Served me well for 7 years and still going strong. Lol

How much you spend on a pair of specs is pretty much the same/year if you average it out.

1.3k+ for 5-6 years vs 500+ for 2+ years

If you prefer to keep wearing the same pair for a long time, then investing in a quality pair makes sense.
