You can do prescription lenses for Oakley Juilet but not Oakley M-Frame Strike.

When making lenses for Oakley Juliet, do ask the shop if they are bending the lens to fit it in or is it already pre-cast curved

Bending lens to fit in
Pros

Much cheaper option

Cons
Induce extra astigmatism
Distorted/ wavy vision
May cause giddiness/ headaches/ nausea
Lens will deform after around 1 year of use

Pre-cast curve
Pros

Clear vision, even on the peripheral
Shape stays constant even after many year of use

Cons
Much more expensive
Hi,

Which shop to go to?
So is it safe to say that I can throw away my M-Frame since i unable to do prescription lenses for M-Frame?
I cannot wear contact lenses.

Thank you.

Hi!

The frame is of regular shape, should be able to get it replaced into a similar frame easily in most shops (y)

If you intend to use the spectacles:
- when walking around => Progressives, Until your Laohua (Presbyopia) hits +1.75/+2.00.
- Only when doing near stuff => reading glasses/office lenses

Safer to choose Zeiss/ Tokai/ Hoya/ Asahi Lite for Progressive/office lenses (Crizal's coating tends to peel faster)
If reading glasses, basically any brand will do (y)

Hi, I’m new here. Looking for progressive glasses (short sighted about 500, long about 100). Not particular about brand. How much will it cost me?

@Optometrist can you PM me your shop pls. Thanks
