my right eye is my dominant eye.
The new optometrist A measured my left eye 250 right eye 300 degrees.
I'm currently wearin 225 and 275.

The right eye is clear enough with 275, so optometrist A suggest stay with 275.
But left eye is slightly blur. If i raise to 250, i remember i don't feel comfortable previously and i once request remain back as 225.

The optometrist A told me if stay with 225 may cause lazy eyes and suggest stick to 250.

My previous optometrist B told me the less dominant eye less power maybe good for close view that's why she suggest go back to 225.
I scare the giddy or funny feelings come back, or will it go away?

What do you think?

No problem but not as sharp. The new optometrist says it may cause lazy eye so suggest I up the left eye though.

But I look close view alot. I don't know if it matters or should go ahead

If you see near alot more, i suggest stick to old presription. more comfortable on the eyes.

Tried asking this in the other thread but it's quite dead there.

Need some advice regarding prescription sunglasses.
Am always keen to get a good pair of sunglasses that suits my face but my problem is that i have quite high myopia and astig (myopia prob in the 700 - 800 degrees astig 200 or so).
For those with myopia and do wear sunglasses, what do you usually do? I don't really like contacts so wearing contacts with a normal sunglass is out of the question.
Anyone of you go for prescription sunglasses? Or other options like clip ons? If so do you know if any shops do one for high degree? I asked Rayban before they say they don't have anything for my degree level... I used to use clip ons from Owndays but there's always some refraction within, cos there is a gap between the clip on and glasses and refraction will show... and somehow my glasses did not last and they don't have the same model anymore so the clip on become useless.

Wa they so fierce ah. selling $200 more than MSRP😅
Definitely not normal.

Normally shops won't overquote what MSRP states to be safe.

Oh man, i already paid for the glasses.. (well half upfront, yet to collect) It does make me wonder if i was quoted over MSRP for the lens as well.

Hi All,

Would like to seek some advise here. Am currently on 1.6 Hoya Nulux Sensity V+ with PC lens. On Porsche titanium rimless frame. Pretty much wearing glasses full time (short-sighted). This is the lens data that I received.

As I have been wearing my current glasses for 2.5 years, would like to ask for any recommendations for shops in north east area that has good titanium frames. Main use will be for occasional sports, driving and working.

Thanks in advance!

I saw the MSRP on the official website, they're saying there are local Japan prices are different from export prices - which seems reasonable (but i have no idea if it's true). Just kinda bummed since i'm going Japan next week.

Four nines frame: S-971T
Essilor lens: 1.50 X Track Transitions with sapphire coating

Was quoted $1720 for both

Yup prices for Japan & SG are different. If buy from Japan cheaper but not sure if the warranty is covered by the shop in SG.
