Hoya Miyosmart and Essilor Stellest lenses are both recommended lenses for myopia control even by eye Drs. Generally, they are the best non-invasive methods for slowing down myopia besides atropine eye drops and Ortho-K.I am new to this thread. Don know to consider Hoya or Stellest. Also keen to do orthok lense but would like to know the pricing too
I do have a preference towards Hoya Miyosmart as they have a blue filter and transition options without needing to top up. Both of them have a 6 months guarantee of a free exchange if there is a power increase of -0.75 within 6 months.
for Ortho-K lenses, there is a range of brands with different pricing. My recommendation is either Abiliti 1 or Menicon Bloom Night. Their pricing is quite mid-range, most practitioners would charge is 2.6k for the entire package which comes with pair of lenses and all other consultations.
I had a recent patient whom I prescribed Menicon Bloom and I was so surprised by the effectiveness. Overnight she shaved off ~300 degrees (not typical).
