The nose pads keep leaving red marks on my face despite multiple adjustments sigh

Do anyone hav solution to this? Gt those rubber nosepads to fit onto existing pads to reduce fiction on face boh?
You could actually request to change to silicone nose pad. It's quite comfy because it's more soft than the usual 'plastic' nose pad.

Hey glasses guys, given that I have astigmatism of 500, and nearsightedness of 500, is there any way to make lenses for cheaper? I've been saddled with high-priced lenses all my life.

You shd spend more on good lenses rather than going for cheaper lenses that cant last for even 2 years. Just accept the hard truth lar. Cheaper lens means lower quality. Go for better ones like hoya. Wont go wrong.

I'm having a hard time looking for lower-half frame glasses. Most of them I see are the upper-half frame glasses. I dropped by Parkway Parade today but there was one that caught my eye, except that thing is like a "display set" and the last piece and it was damn dusty too. I wonder how long the thing has been there...

And does anyone know where I can find JF Rey glasses and if they have the Hideo Kojima glasses in Singapore?

JFRey have but not comfy. Sg mkt too limited. Most prefer to buy cheap cheap ones online or those owndays or cheap korean trends one. Not many will bother abt quality eyewear.

Thanks for the response!

I saw a Porsche glasses that has lower-half rim. It was so expensive, uncomfortable and ugly.

I will try to source for it online. Any local shops that are friendly and willing to change lenses with a post-purchased online glasses?

Anyone has any optometrist to recommend? First time getting a pair of spectacles!
Would appreciate if the optometrist happen to carry a wide range of products as well!

TIA!

I think you're better off doing one time lasik or relexsmile if you're suitable..

My loot experience

Would like to share my experience today at Focus Point, City Square JB

Oakley Crosslink Frame + Crizal Transitions + Blue Coat + 1.67 hi-index Lenses
= $2100 ringgit (S$709.46, based on $2.96 exchange rate)

I asked around some shops in SG, the price range for the same specifications above cost between $855 - $950.

There are some savings I would say, not sure about the quality thou' will evaluate next week when I collect it.

Anyone has similar configurations to share your cost?

Thanks!

Just sharing my loot from JB. Quite happy with the quality and they managed to get the glasses ready for me within a week, including a day of public holiday.

Nice hoot but beware of the green temples attract dirt easily and esp if you got oily skin.
