1)myopilux PLUS(not max)-essilor
2)myokids-zeiss

These are the 2 which can do photochromatic/turning dark when your kids goes outdoor

Usually ophthalmologists would pair the treatment with the progressive lens design which is the first 2 options. You can see which option the optometrist would recommend you.

Thanks - is Myopilux plus can add only near add up to +2 only ? Given he has near add of + 2.5 . If that is the case which one would be next lowest in term of price amount the branded one ? Also how much that would cost generally ?

350 for 1.60 index
450 for 1.67 index

To add photofusion(photochromic lenses) it cost 120 more.

All these are before discount.
Depending on the size of frame, what kind of weight you prefer for your kid, the index of the lens will be recommended according though I am leaning towards 1.67.

1. How is your experience with Lindberg Acetanium series? Durable? I was initially going to go with a Mykita stainless steel frame but Mykita's own website does not recommend washing their stainless steel frames with water as it may lead to... "undesirable deposits". So looking at Lindberg now instead.

2. I use the computer at work for long hours so would need a suitable lens. I saw that for Crizal, you can now order Crizal Eyezen + Blue UV Capture + Prevencia coating. Is this a good option or overkill? For 1.67 index this combi is almost $490...

cant answer for number 1. gangsterkia can help.

as for point 2. blue capture + prevencia will be the max protection. some people even add in transitions ultimate its really up to you.. $470 is RRp. maybe can get a little discount

Regard acetanium, IMHO my workplace sells both mykita and Lindberg but I am leaning towards acetanium. Mykita snap hinge design tends to have some issue after a few years..
durability wise, I am also going with Lindberg.

hey was wondering if anyone wanted to get any glasses from lenskart?
they have a 1 for 1 promotion with the gold membership and i do not really need 2 pairs of glasses. was thinking maybe we can split the cost between us.

btw they have these large sized glasses in round korean style which is trendy now. have been looking for a long time for something that is large and fits my face. my width is about 145 to 150 cm.

With a Budget in that range, you can look towards, yellows plus, acoustic line, Oliver people and many more.

Horn, definitely not.... probably if might have to increase your Budget to 500+ for one... and it’s the ic Berlin horn .. Lindberg horn will be 2k+(before discount):

I'm a tourist in S'pore. My Robert Marc horn frame broke. Where is the best place to buy something similar? I've owned them for 5 years and doubt they can be fixed, but happy to explore that option as well.

In the interim I am still managing to wear my broken pair, and have some contacts as a backup (although those may need replenishing as well).

I understand under current ** some opticians are working on an appointment basis
