Hmm, I think zeiss drive safelenses will do fine or Hoya enroute pro. Your degree isint too high so lenses should be about 200. So you got about 100-300 for a frame. I think it’s very workable. Frame I not too sure. It’s really have to see which is to your liking. But with 300 as budget I think you have quite a nice range.

thanks bro. how about transition lens? something i would like to consider since its a good alternative to sunglasses for day time driving too....

Hm... if transition then you must look towards sensity DARK from hoya. It will allow the lenses to change darker even behind a windscreen.
Cost of that would be higher, have to shift the frame price lesser to accommodate to that. I will let you know tmr when I am back at work?

ah i see..in that case i think i just stick to normal lens....my windscreen have solar film on...so i think it may not work well.

on frames, i read about Charmant...any recommended stores that carry this brand and provides competitive pricing (preferably east/central).

Maybe you can spend abit more for a frame like yellows plus, lighter, more comfy than rayban but cost about 480? Should be able to last 3-4 years minimally with care. With blue light lens 350 degrees, the frame can hide a 1.50 index thickness lens. So add up... 570?

Sigh RB broke for the 2nd time, used it for more than 2 years now. Sent RB an email to check if they have spares.

In the meantime with a budget of $450-500 what brands should I be looking out for? Want something that can last longer than this:X

currently I'm wearing progressive lens at SPH. +1.00/+1.75
Should i have another pair of office lens ?

HI, i went to the spectacle hut shop in north-east area. i want a Oakley Targetline, Crizal Transitions gen 8 plus crizal prevencia. Both my eyes like 300 degree. they quote me $780. is this true or daylight robbery?

Which targetline Frame model you chose? The polarised one? Polarised one cause 345.. add up......
non polarised 245/255 in prizm.

Unless they use 1.5 stylistic with transition to match the base curve of targetline then price makes more sense. Do you know if it’s stylistic transition or normal basic one?

Best is if you get a breakdown.

Hoya has a new promo+extended promo for their progressives. You guys can consider getting hoya again. From what I see, it’s very value for money, single vision Nulux TRueform upgrade to Nulux V+(fully customised lens) similar to zeiss individual, BUT cheaper.

Progressives got free upgrade to better tier.
For those looking to save money for lenses, this is a good option!!

Ok I Guess as much, stylistic then the price is.. not too bad. It cost more because it’s stylistic aka customised lenses to match the curvature of the frame.

Maybe can squeeze abit more discount but if don’t have then I find it’s not a bad price still.
