1.74 is the max index.
It would cost 1980 from RRP.

i have about 3-4 frames that are in good condition, just that prescription is either outdated or I no longer use.

Asked in the progressive lens thread in edmw but I think here more suitable since that thread is probably pushed down quickly.

Can you recommend a progressive lens for $800 budget? Excluding frame. Will you also advice to get a separate pair office glasses for computer and reading purposes? Or see first if the progressive lenses is sufficient and can get used to it?

Yar i think now hoya lifestyle Id 3 is most value buy. Just take 1.67 should be okay.

Currently using crizal lens but the coating has worn off. Bought in 2019 for around $500+

I realise after I put into a digital supersonic cleaner with water the lenses coating wore off quite a lot.
om.. I think i just damaged my own glasses,
Is there any spectacles lens that have coating not likely to wear off?

Hi, you could consider using hoya nulux EP, it is a double aspheric lens thus the lenses will be thinner and hoya coating is very durable.
The cost is about 740 though. Think of It like an upgrade…

Oh no, that’s unfortunate. But as it’s ultrasonic, if the coating of the lenses are old etc, they will come off very easily..
I would suggest hoya or Zeiss.
