Nulux classic and hilux are both single vision lenses.
nulux lenses are aspheric which is better for frames that are flat, as compared to hilux which is spherical which is better for frames that are curve e.g. Oakley cross link. Nulux trueform and identity v are similar but have the option of adding in more customisation to improve the wearer comfort. The latter has more options for that.

Ohh... In the end I burst my budget and got the hoya nulux classic. But I think buy a good one can last long! What kind of customisation is available for true form and identity?

Nulux classic honestly is a good pair of single vision in terms of coating and clarity..
they measured your and input data like your frame position of wear e.g. the distance of the lenses to your eyes(vertex), the tilt on your frame.

May I know for 1.74 index lens if there is there any brands that can do photochromic, tinted or sunglasses.

Was told that Zeiss and Hoya only does 1.67 index photochromatic lens and my power slightly exceed the limit of 1,200 by 50 degrees

Also want to try glass lenses with plastic frames. Any recommendation on where to go to get glass lenses made?

i just did my specs but it looks more blurry than old specs on bright com screen although power is higher . at night nee soec much better cuz new spec have higher astig

i always felt when testing the glasses were super clear then when i get my glasses feels blurry.


am i worrying too much or will i get used to it?

Your glasses should be clear when you 1st get it. Might experience slight discomfort due to "new lens effect", but shouldn't be blurry. I suggest you go back to the shop to recheck everything again.

if your old spectacles have a blue coating, probably need to make the same for new pair. Blue coating will reflect quite abit of light away, resulting in a dimmer lens. More obvious when viewing a bright object.

Think there's a 1 for 1 going on for Essilor.

But I'ld still recommend Zeiss/Tokai/Asahi Lite (Better value for money & better quality)

I also intend to make 2 pairs of lenses. How much is ur recommendation? - 3.5 here.

Hoya Miyosmart everytime. Effective and no coating issue
