Got my prescription from my doctor and ordered a pair of specs from warby parker online. When I look straight with my face up right I can see clearly. But I realize if my eyes were to look to the sides, it isn't that clear and a little blurry. Is this something that will change over time or?

single v or prog? if prog lens meaning its the corridor and its normal for sides to be blur but if single v, could be cause of the optical center not align cause ur PD was not dotted since u order online.

I need to wear glasses since young, but i cant wear them for long hours bcos my both side of my ears hurts...

Any bros here have any cure to tis ? Is it bcos i got the wrong type of glasses?

if that's the case like what the previous user posted, yes it might be your frame selection problem OR it could be you(get your optician/optom) have to adjust the temple bend of your frame such that it does not keep rubbing against your ear to cause the ache.

I have Tried those plastic kind but they still hurts badly, and the pain lasts for quite awhile.. initally when i wear them , they r alright, but after a couple of hours, the pain will comes ...

when they adjusted for u, at that point of time does it still hurt? or after afew hours it comes back?

you can try cheaper brand frames. These brand are really soft and flexible e.g. ultem, abba, swissflex and if you dont have a budget maybe silhouette.

sometimes even thought your frame is plastic, it might be those hard plastic whereby it isnt as flexible. An example would be like those black army specs style.

by the way, may i ask what kind of frame are u wearing? is it those kind of hard plastic like army style? those classic black designs?
because if you are then, i recommend changing to those softer materials like what i mentioned in the previous post. Because some frame types like these army style/classic black materials are usually rigid so even if adjustment is made, it can be very minimal thus you will still feel the ache

its nothing to do with the brand or price. You need a good optician to suggest suitable frames for you.

Few cause of it actually. Even single vision, there will still be distortion on the sides. Just that it's not as bad as progressive. That's the limitation of stock single vision lenses. Unless u go for RX lenses like atorics lenses or double aspherical lenses.
What u say is also possible. Pd might be just one of the cause. If it's high degree,it's more apprent. Segment height plays a part also.
Btw it's literally not possible to order progressive online due to fitting height of the lenses, And the complex measurement to ensure proper fit for progressive

Both wear for long is painful...

Just to add my power is low.. so i guess it is not bcos my glasses are too heavy..

Not the part where the arms bend, is just right on top of my ears .. hmm dunno did i confuse u anot .. or i shld say where ur specs touches the ear.. that is the part where it is painful when i wear specs for long ..
