Just went to queensway. Seng lee moved to first level, shop quite big but the lady attitude not that great. Optometrists@work service still good as ever, though not much varieties.

Starck frames are hard to find. Trying to locate a list of authorised dealers as starck will be my staple eyewear brand moving forward.

Seng Lee forever at first level. Just that they expanded and took over (technically took back) the neighbouring shop.

hi guys can i check what is the rough price for a normal lens for home use if i wanna change lens at some neighborhood shop . dont really know the market price or such so jus wanna prevent getting overcharge. thanks in advance !

120 by terrence is possible but difficult to get unless you are regular. $120 is rrp for 1.56 crizal. sometimes people may quote u about $150 (quite reasonable)

Like the look of this Stark model.

However, after trying it in Seng Lee, the weight is too much for me (compared to my existing ByWP).

Other brands with a similiar design:

Dun 2055
DUN-2055-C4-300x300.gif

Japonism JP001
JN-001-C03-300x300.gif

Other than Spectacle Culture, any shop that carries both Dun and Japonism? Any bros with idea the price of these 2?

i am looking to replace my prescription lens. An I am thinking of getting a lens that is suitable for golfing. When the sky is cloudy, I can't seem to see the ball in the sky.

I read online that essilor has a line "DEFINITY" for active users, but would like to know whether there is other similar products in the local market.

I would also like to know whether it is advisable to get 2 different pair of eyewears for their own purpose, ie daily and sports.

Thanks.

i think definity lens not available in SG, maybe you can go for progressive lenses (PHYSIO 360). i believe thats still good for golfing. maybe you can check it out with the experts in the shops and get them to recommend you the most suitable lens
to get 2 eyewears for different purpose is a good idea because it suits different occasions, and also the wear and tear on the sports eyewear.

Looks, then follow by fit and comfort. :D

If you want looks, dont go for dun though its cheapest $300-400, but it ranks highest in comfort. You want looks go for japonism projecyion or stark. Japonism most expensive especially projection easily over 1k. Starck also about that range maybe cheaper but also ar least $700-$800 & getting more expensive. Comfort & fit, starck and japonism about the same. Definitely yur mykita is light comparable to dun.

Yfwong, you can probably check out the many shops around level 1. Many shops to check out the pricing and frames. As long as the price and frames are reasonable hahaha. Maybe wouldnt recommend seng li.
