Lost my specs when moving house, go reservist FFI cannot see the eye test at all. Went to Queensway to make new specs.

These are made in China from Dongguan. Qualitywise feels much better and comfort better than the Korean made pair I had. Lense used is Crizal. Dunno good or not. But felt much better than the AO I used and only cost $20 more.

a few days back i was making specs and had my eye check done. then the optician recommended me crizal lens to go with my frames and i stupidly chose crizal 1.67. didn't occur to me at that point to ask to compare other brands or go with the normal one!

at least its a decent lens compared to the others. to compare better ones at better price there are zeiss etc. definitely cost a lot more for better quality
just take note that all lens do scratch hahaha.take good care of you lenses and they will be fine!!

Yea bro... tried for 3months already, damn good. Every aspect also good. U want brand got brand. U want Clarity its got total clarity. Smooth coating wont lose to hoya's but probably scratch resistance wise you can never expect scratch proof la. But most importantly the blue residual reflection is the most swee. By the way duravision is just zeiss new coating name. Mine is Single Vision. I took 1.74 Superb, but becos my lenses are RX cost ard $600-700. Stocks lens will be much cheaper. After using both hoya & zeiss my preference has changed to zeiss liao.

within a range of 40-150? depending on whether the lens is branded e.g. zeiss,essilor,hoya or normal local house brands which would be cheaper/lousier quality of course!

Collected my spectacles today.

ever since I started wearing ic! Berlin 3 years ago, I'm a fan. Even though I had tried other "branded" brands also, the feel, quality and build I still prefer ic! berlin.

My previous one was the Arthur Model. its like a Nokia 3310. No matter how I thrashed it its still works like nothing happened. But recently the scratches on the lenses had bothered me quite a lot so I went to get another pair of ic! Berlin.

Here it is:

Using Zeiss Clarity 1.6 AS LT. Haven't put it to use yet. Tomorrow then start using it officially.


Made this pair at Evershine Optical @ Toa Payoh.

If I'm not wrong this place is a family business and the young man whom served me I think is the son of the owner. Generally, I feel that business ran as a family tend to be less pushy and less hard selling. They are more upfront with the service. Employed sales staff tend to be more pushy as they want to faster close the deal to impress their bosses. My experience at Evershine was quite good. I actually knew more about my eyes than before as he did several thorough eyechecks for me.
