How are icberlin spectacles?

Tiagong it is now more and more the rage for CBD crowd, even though i think was first introduced here in 4-5 years ago.

Worth it to spend around $700+ for a new pair with lens? Touch-touch a pair, and indeed is super slim and light. But the 3 prongs metal seems easy to dislodged and bend?

Alwin C.

Any alternatives glasses in looking professional and senior?

As for lens, last time gong gong just take what optometrist recommend, now then know got many choice and patterns? Didnt even know the lens coating can choose one! But got to pay extra?

icberlin was already available possibly 10 years back, at that time, mine with lens cost about 1k+.

the arm will not dislodge unless like kanna whack or something, then possibly it will. but i was able to fix it back la, no issue, nothing broke.

since this frame is ultra light, make it with a light and high index lens, don 'waste' the lightness

IC! Berlin one of my favourite brand as well. Great design and comfort for users. Would highly recommend it to any of you bros out there!

Bro with a narrow nasal bridge (like me) not suitable for IC Berlin. Their nose pad non-adjustable and is European fit.

Although my optician took quite some time to adjust it hahaha. I believe its difficult but doable haha

Sent from GAGT Android App

IC Berlin's nose pad only got limited adjustment, unlike convention specs.

Also, my face quite small for a guy (commented by the optician while making my new specs recently). Originally wanted to buy the Japonism Projection, but face too small for it. =:p

bros who have made their glasses at owndays before..
are they using the "auto eye check machine"?

read from some reviews that the machine can auto detect your degree instead of the traditional slot in lenses way.

my specs just broke :( wearing a spare raybans but the bridge is too low for comfort.

would anyone recommend to go JB to make glasses?

Owndays frames & lenses are not branded. Quality not warranted.

JB not recommended, unless ringgit weakens considerably while costs of optical products and services remain the same, then only good for yur pockets.

Traditional slot more accurate, autocheck machine only for reference must not be a substitute for proper comprehensive eye test.

If yur bridge too low, then look for a frame with higher sitting. :)

have u ever think of making glasses from taobao.com? I make mine one pair with right degree for s$30 whole set. good quality , perfect degree . choose your own frame and tell them your degree and pupil distance, then they will cut the glass for u. u shall be able to receive the item 7 to 10 days from the day u order. pm me for details.

considering the exchange rates now. it's not too bad right?
gave up on branded frames already, haha.
considering owndays because their prices for hi index lens is cheap. only top up $100 to 1.74 one.

always thought that traditional slot eye check is not so accurate cos sometimes eyes tired or smth or mind play trick.
