hi sorry if its a noob question. if i change my sunglasses to prescription lens, need multi coat or not ah? no need right? one specs shop say will look nicer, another shop told me no need as already very dark can't see your eyes.

btw are those usually prescription lens that are made usually polarized?

hi all, jus ordered a Tag Heuer Reflex 3006 with Hoya 1.6 lens, $600

Think i got chop carrot cos such damn old model le, hai but among all the tag heuer frame i tried only that model suit my face leh

tink quite ok eh.for Oakley & Tag heuer I tink even if old model,the price also controlled.no discount whatsoever...where u made & wat colors they have?

i made at this Visual Arts, very few outlets though.

They have the red/silver frame in stock for tryin only, but they claimed they could order the other 2 colors all black and blue/silver easily if interested

I do tried other similar model on the other 2 colors and find red/silver still fit best so i got that lor :s22:

hmm.Visual Arts? i google it & found 2 outlets.i assume its Visual Art'S Optics & Contact Lens Centre?
3 branches at Hougang blk 809,yishun blk 102 & Sun Plaza...which one u went to?

A quick question, do the optics shops that are recommended here at Bras Basah and Queensway accept CC payment or is it strictly cash payment?

Seng Li in queensway accepts credit card payment without any extra charges.

Hi guys, I am planning to get a pair of frameless spects, any recommendation? I heard swissflex is good, any optical shop that has wide range of frameless spects? btw, what's the avg price for swissflex? thanks

yeah it that shop, i went to the sun plaza outlet since i stay nearby.

anyway jus collect my spec, first try at the shop was wow like everything to clear n bright :s13: havnt given a thorough try though

To those who have exp with Tag Heuer,

What's the avg price for those frames? Model 7107, 3110

I saw them on USA & AU sites, cost btw 400USD or 320AUD.

From ebay, they list that its made in france, but other sites is made in italy.

Not very sure abt the country of origin.

Hi anyway have experience with bringing a spectacles frame that you like to the optician then making clear lenses (with degree) for it? Can I bring any type of spectacle frame? Even those cheap sunglasses frame?

I have done that before, save $$ for the frame, provided the frame is in working condition....

Saw a range of Swissflex specs. They are really nice and almost indestructible. My optician friend pulled them until the entire pair of specs were almost flat and they spring back to shape! Neat marketing trick! And he showed me a pair that is about 8grams only! And I thought my Raybans were light!
