side note, im looking specifically for halfrim [underside].
those on ebays are quite plain.

btw im not asking for which brand is the best.

Im asking which is the LIGHTEST & MOST COMFY at capitol optical. Surely there is one brand or frame which you feel is light & comfy at the same time.

Simple question. If you are a good optician, you shd be able to at least give an answer, not any vague reply, sounds as if you do not knoe lidat.

Or you need to go back to your shop & check first??

Oh, i thought u talking about lens.. so i asked for ur power. Lightest will be Swissflex or Sillihouette. Most Comfy i would say 999.9 or Japonisim.

There really isnt a very "Lightest and most comfy" cuz each brands have a certain way of fitting.. it might not suit u that well even the lightest.. where as some frame not the lightest but able to balance the weight till u cant feel much.

Comfort is important.. but looks also ma..

I suggest u can walk in to big big shops.. alot of varations for u to try..

Found the models u like, try ur luck online.

swissflex doesnt balance the weight well. Does silhuoette balance the weight well? Or is it similar to swissflex, that is v light but cant hold well on the face?

For very wide ranges, go for megastores like:

Great world city, Specialist Eye Care
Vivocity, Intergrated Eye Care
Suntec City, Yes Eyewear

their prices might be a little higher for the rental but their range is superb. u can take ur time slowly choose.

Thank you, I will check up my favourite Kwong Sim first. And then compare the prices with the megastores if possible.

at 600+ for ic berlin frame + hoya 1.6 transitions lens, i can tell u it's definitely not SFT coating and no 7 function. the most you are getting is HVP coating. At this price , i am not even sure if you are getting hoya lens.

sft supposed to be a better scratch-resistant coating. so the oni way to prove it is to try scratching it, if it gets even one scratch line, it will not be a sft. Btw im not sure whether fingernail can scratch the coating or not.

Both Japanese made.. high quality. 999.9 focused on comfort. style wise not very stunning.

Japonisim focused on style.. comfort not as good as 999.9.

Such brands only can find in town area or big big mega stores. if u have the chance, go try a few pieces.

Well, ur method won't work. Ther are scratch resistant NOT scratch proof.

All lenses will be scratched. Toughest lens are glass. even glass can be scratched.
