optical as in shades or clear lens?

shd be expensive due to the curvature right?

which optical shop to recommend for this?

Bro..

Lens price varies according to your requirement, like how much is your prescription and how much you expected for ur vision outcome...

Curvature has to be measure before advising you.. i would say range from 180 onwards...

Appreciate some expert advice from the seniors here.

For the following prescription, is it true that the optician will usually ignore the astig as there is no astig lens with -0.25 since the minimum is -0.5?

R: -1.00, -0.25, 90
L: -1.00, -0.25, 90

For the following prescription, is there any way to make progressive lens? Or is there another way to compensate with +0.25 and -0.25? How does it work?

R: -1.00, -0.25, 90
L: -1.00, -0.25, 90
A: +1.25

Thanks

Bro.. looking at your situation, i would like to ask... the -0.25 being ignore is it decided after examination or prior to it?

All Optical lenses comes in a general range of variance in +/- 0.25 steps.
However, whether to include that 0.25 into any prescription, depends on subjective response and objective judgement.

For the prescription that you have written, definitely progressive lens can be made.

If you have doubt with the current optician, you can definitely look for another EyeCare Professional for a 2nd opinion...

Thanks bro for your reply.

The prescription was examined locally. I happened to be traveling in China and made a quick enquiry in one of the optical shops. They claimed that the lens for astig is min. -0.5 and suggested to do without the astig. Can I safely say that it is possible to do -0.25 astig locally?

They also mentioned about the compensation for the 老花 with +0.25 and -0.25 which I do not understand. Was wondering what it is.

Bro,

Thank god that you say that your prescription was examined locally. phheeww...
I really have my reservations regarding the professionalism and practices standard of some other countries.

As for the -0.25 for Astig, i would rather say that if you go to a decent/reputable optical shop, you should be able to get it done exactly that way the prescription form stated.

As for the compensation for Presbyopia, i would say that the +/- 0.25 would probably be a poor measure . You have a +1.25 DS of Reading prescription, what good would a 0.25 do? or signifies?

there you go bro : ALL ITEMS - BOSTON CLUB

I've seen models at S$545 at Kwong Shin, and up to $1200. So I think the price depends on models and range. I haven't been paying attention to their collection, recently, sorry.
