noinimod, care to elaborate what you disliked about Oakley's 'lifetime warranty'? TIA. :s7:
If you know about the oakley hype last time, people used to rave about the warranty - how anyone can change their entire frame for 60/80 bucks. Can't remember which it was liao.

But now, the 'lifetime warranty' is limited to manufacturer's defect. I'm not saying that sucks. It should be the case, but because they changed their warranty system half-way, kinda pissed me off.
The warranty system changed due to a change in the distributor, so that's probably the reason.

aireth: my stems are not level when it's closed also, but it is definitely not that slanted like yours. Anyway, when mine are opened up, it is confirm + chopped level

always tot original oakley usually most parallel to each other.

My Oakley prescription fames fold at a slight offset. ie.: need to fold in the left side first then the right. If done the other sequence, the right arm will come in contact with the left arm.

There's too much going on at the sides alr
A good pair of spectacles should always serve the purpose of framing your face. It's a complementary item, not the main focus.
If you wear those frames, more than half the time people will be staring at your specs instead of your eyes.
