hi guys,

just went to a shop to make a half-frame specs. I wanted the lens to be glass instead of plastic but the shopkeeper say half-frame spec cannot have glass lens. This that true?

Thanks for the replies!
I have pretty high degree therefore I think using glass lens would be a better choice since they are cheaper and also thinner.
But now half-frame is only available with plastic lens, I will need to consider a full-frame instead...

where is the best place to make specs in the western area?

I would like to know too. :s12:

I got my first pair last year from a chain shop and i think i got "carrot-cake-ed"
I hear its better to get from neighbourhood shops (cheaper), unless you are getting the branded kinds. Is it true?

But i see the ah pek sit there ( from the 2 shops nearby) ..i will -_-'''''
