Just a quick question, Is transitions allowed in camp for reservist? Otherwise, I need to make a new pair of spectacles.

Was allowed in my case. In fact saw more than a handful wearing transitions like me.

See if you want the normal one or 1.67 one.

The price jump is very high. Normal one is about $160 but the 1.67 one is $250 and up.

Transition is a branding only, they are now made by all the manufacturer of lens, as long as the lens make a certain grade, they can use the brand Transition, sort of like OEM manufacturers. All are under Transition label but not all are the same.

i saw Spectacle Hut @ Plaza Singapura got put $38 for frame + lens. maybe u can go there to ssrr.

maybe u can also go there to ssrr if the following outlets are near u.

They quote me for each following items:

3101: 500(frame) + 150(lens super thin--don'te really understand lol)

7201/7203: 700(frame) + 150(lens, also super thin)

How is it guys? is it a good price?

i got quoted today 560 by a shop in AMK. for Tag Heuer 3202 series, prescription lens . issit exp?

Also, is carls zeiss optics a lot better? got brainwash by one of the salesperson in spec hut to get it... as it is better. change ur eye to blue color too like how color contact lens work. do u guys think its worth the 100 dollars? or get normal lens enuff le..

The frames quoted above is quite gd pricing...as for the lenses not very cheap I feel.

Anyway...if I buy I only buy the frames...cos I want to do the lens myself

hey thanks for the shop info! i was looking to buy a frame with no degree lenses too.

question: if you buy no degree lenses, does that mean you can get the glasses on the spot or do you have to wait a few days to get it?

If you are getting those without prescription, check the condition of the demo lens. You need to get those that do not have wordings etched onto the demo lens. Also, those demo lens sometimes have cracks or are very dirty. Just something to take note when you choose your frames.

You can get it on the spot if the lens are in acceptable condition.
