but tag heur price is crazy

But it's really comfortable.

I'm use to wearing straight legs but my current pair barely feels anything on my face. Only feeling I get is the drop end legs which I'm still getting used to after wearing Oakley for over 6years.

tag really very light and comfortable. you wont feel any pressure at the temples while it grips on really secure. perspire also wont slip off

For the track series yes, for mine it still slips off or maybe it's just my nose haha.

I think that SwissFlex would be more lighter if you want your nose to feel comfortable without the bridge clamping your nose bridge.. :s13: , light and also wont drop..

By the way.. there is another brand call AirFlex.. replica of it.. quality not bad and about the same.. cheaper by the real one by half.. lol~

u just rationalise it by dividing the cost over 365 days ...per day only like couple of dollars....at least it something u will use for long

...my previous 2 tag average life span is about 2 years, i didnt really take care of it..kinda regret ....

i made 3 pairs of spec recently over the last 6 months ...so hopefully my current track tag can last longer, cause i can rotate among the newer 3 pairs and some older specs that i have not been using....

For some, spectacles are like accessories. I have several pairs that I rotate. When I was a uni student, I will make one pair every 1 - 1.5 yr. But now, after working for some years, I tend to be spending more on spec - esp the higher range. In the end, it is about our willingness to pay. To some of my friends, it is crazy to spend 500 - 700 on one.

I did rationalised it by spending $500 for 2 less branded lens for rotation wear.
instead of investing on 1.

As i do not engage in vigorous sports, so most of my specs last quite long.

ya lor...need different shapes & colors to match clothings.

i guess boils down to individuals...whether ish worth on investing a good pair of glasses.

My last pair of Oakley lasted me more than 5years. Cost me $400 in 2004. Factoring inflation, paying over $500 for my current pair sounds like common sense to me.

Usually my expensive hoots always last me fore quite a long period of time.

Is there any optician shop in West area which can make transition lens and they don't charge according by degree? Cause my transition lens crack for few years already and I still wearing it until now then I got the money to change the lens, cause previously I just kana carrot from my optician which they charge by degree end up I pay more for the lens than my Oakley frame due to my high degree:(

No offense but I think those who make transition already kanna carrot in the first place.

Check the earlier pages to find out why. Basically those in the industry are saying that transitions lenses aren't worth it.

By the way.. do you know that if you have high degree and you make transition lens, you will get a fat thickness of transition lens and most of the customer just said they dont mind it until when the lens arrive and they see it, they start to complain and pushing the blames to the optician. You can't avoid the transition lens to be thick unless you pay more for higher grade/:)

Let's not say about transition, even if you made a normal plastic lens with high degree, you will need high index, which is mostly common 1.67. They have to get you a better lens instead of the normal because there is no normal lens that have high degree for you, that is not even charging by degree but giving you a high grade of lens..:s13: Just my 2 cent worth of it..

Carnage - by the way, I didnt see the earlier page.. there is 100page of it.. can i know roughly which page? Why is it not worth it?
