Not to say this brand is not good, but for me i will not recommend swiss flex cos there quite alot of compliant so far from what i heard feed back from my patient who ever wear swiss flex. I mean it's up to individual on how do you take care. :s13:

I'm not sure where have promotion as Swiss Flex usually are Chain store which are mostly selling. Can try going around to look for it. :s13:

Please share what are the complaints you heard so far...

I'm eyeing Swissflex for sometime now... because of its comfort, lightness and color options.

Any other nice, ultra light frames to suggest?

What do u mean your patient? you are in this line?

Yup i do own a optical outlet, My place here has a promotion on swiss flex from capitol you can come down to their store and take a look. I cant go in you see, so i dunno how much stock and different range do they have~ But if i didn't see it wrongly is $220 frame + lens.

Yes it's light but very fragile, to compare titanium rimless and Swiss flex. Weight is nearly the same and it's more tough. The only thing color option that lose out.

Your budget?? then i see got what brand near your budget to intro you.

As far as i know.. Swissflex is very light but sometimes most of the people says its too light and sometimes when you look down, it drop off. So they have to put the swissflex ear hook to prevent them dropping.. these were told by my dad and my uncle's employee because they are doing this optical trades too.. :D

Yes, tat is one of them i got. The temple cant really be adjusted to much. Due to lens weight, the frame tent to slight down.

You mean slide down? It's like if the len is thick, the lens is heavier than the frame. lol :s31: . I would rather get a frame that is brandless but more durable. =D

This is interesting... but i tried the Swissflex comfort half rim and full rim design, the grip of the temples is very good... in fact the shop took out a sample temple that has been bent for me to see and try... its bent till like normal frames. I tried looking downwards and to shake my head... it also wont fall off...
I'm not sure if they're trying to market this brand or what... but they also carry a wide series of Tag... and the optician is saying that from his experience from customers... Swissflex is more lasting than Tag...?

Every spec have their pro and con that for sure. The most important thing is you must feel comfortable wearing with it. Swiss Flex more lasting than Tag??? That one i dunoo lol......... :s13:

But what i can say is, if so then Swiss flex should be more expensive then tag then. M i right to say so? :D

I used to go there too until I find the service standard start to drop.

i can sit there for like 30 min and no one wants to serve me even when you see a few the ladies doing nothing. A pity cos I made 2 glasses with them before.

The feeling of being treated as transparent despite me looking at them and signaling to them is quite weird. In the end, I gave up and walked out never to return.

They prob are doing too big to bother abt small fries like me.

Used to go? When you are still alive?

Establish eye contact and signalling, yet no response or service? Try going around the Lunar 7 month. Maybe they might be able to see you then.

... Joking aside, I really don't think I can tolerate getting no service even after signalling to them. If you have made 2 pairs there before, I don't think a customer-oriented shop would consider you small fry.

I checked Capitol... it's $350... and with a 1.67 lens would be around $600....

So besides Swissflex, what else do you recommend for full/half frame ultra comfort wear as if not wearing anything at all... I may consider those as well...
