Does shops charge higher when u dun buy frames fr them but only buy the lens? Was thinking of getting a pair of transitions but oakley frames are cheaper fr grey dealers then fr shops :(

Local Oakley frames have "free" rubber and nose pad replacement lifetime, not sure if the policy changed.

Any comments on Yangi Gawa Ichiro brand?

Also does anyone know about ray ban wayfarers if they have mixed materials for their wayfarers i.e. wood and plastic? If you know the model it will be great.

Thanks for the info. But u mean they will knw if ur frame is local or not?

Anyway, the savings are close to 100-150. I think the difference kinda make up for the lifetime replacement costs in a way. But just my thts.

Of course the optical shop will insist on a locally stamped warranty card and receipt to show them. (at least for my case)

1 set if ear sock and rubber pads are not cheap. (maybe about $40?) I have changed mine for the up-teen times already. (the frame was also changed new once).

FYI. :)
