But no point. He wants a rayban aviator shades with prescription lens. After change the lens will not have rayban logo anywhere on the shades other than the inner portion of the legs. As well go bugis street to get a brandless aviator change lens. Cheaper also.

Ohh yeah. Quite true also. It should be way cheaper. Back then i just thought of getting a specs for snooker. Never really thought that much. Haha.

wow gg to be very expensive. My hoya 1.67 nulux EP already costs RRP550, but i managed to bargain for discount. Hoya 1.7 Nulux EP is RRP650 if hoya havent raise their pricelist yet. If you are already thinking of getting hoya might as well get the EP lah, much much better.

I just want to know for those people with low or normal power, do they feel any big difference between normal nulux and nulux EP? Nobody seems to be able to give me an answer.

Thanks for the price. Actually, my heart is going for hoya 1.67 until i notice that hoya 1.67 and 1.74 have low Abbe value. Hence decide on hoya 1.70.
For designs, i have been using either spherical/aspheric lenes in the past. For this round, really like to experience bi-aspheric/free-form (Nulux EP).
For coating, S'pore does not have Venus Guard; have to use SFT coating.
Anyway, manage to get a reasonable discount on hoya 1.70 Nulux EP SFT just now. But waiting time is around 10 to 14 days.

Got my spec frame online and now need to find an optical shop to do prescription lens. Any recommendation? Also thinking to do Hoya lens. Me only short-sighted about 150-200 each.

After glasses have been worn for a while, they may begin to sit crookedly on the wearer’s nose. This is not only unattractive; it can also be bad for the wearer’s vision. Damaged eye glasses will need a professional’s help, but it isn’t necessary to visit the optician’s office just to straighten glasses.

The temples may be bent out of shape, which could cause the frames to sit closer to the wearer’s face on just one side. It could also cause one side of the frame to be higher than the other. You can straighten the glasses by bending one or both temples slightly, especially where they rest on the wearer’s ears. Be sure to proceed very slowly, because it’s easy to break the temples.

The eye glasses may look crooked on the wearer when they are, in fact, perfectly straight. This happens when the frames have not been fitted correctly to the wearer’s face. Many, many people have one ear that is slightly higher than the other, or is placed slightly further back on the skull. These differences in placement are so small that they’re not even noticeable, but if the fit of the eye glasses is not adjusted to accommodate them, the glasses will look crooked. Bending the temples slightly will adapt the shape of the eye glass frame to the shape of the wearer’s skull.

The fitting triangle

A well adjusted spec frame will put pressure on the person's face and head in only three places:-
- the bridge of the person's nose
- the sides of the person's head above their ears
- the top of each of the person's ears
If the frame puts pressure on other parts of the person's head or face, the frame is not fitted correctly & the person will be uncomfortable.

Facial Wrap
The frame front should curve so that it follows the shape of a person's face. The frame front should never be completely straight. It should always be less than 180degrees. To adjust the facial wrap use your hands, put gentle pressure on the bridge until you get the shape you want.

No. Actually the frame have only 1 size. The frame i bought is a replica version of a branded one. The branded frame have a virtual try on, so i roughly know how it looked on my face.

Which model you got? How much you paid for shipping?
