Hi ! Does anyone know the price for changing spec lenses for rimless spectacles ?

I am looking for transition lenses and requires fine lenses cos my degree for both eyes is around 600-700...

Is there any store in Queenstown shopping centre that offer good price for such?

thanks

hi,

does anyone knows whether kodak lenses for specs are good? was on a very tight budget and the optician told that it is somewhat similar to crizal lenses. was wondering if they really does the same.

Hi Heidel
Thanks. Liang court a bit far. Any idea which other optical shops also carry this brand 999.9? I am interested in one of the model, so i may ask the shop to place order, if necessary.

Was there yesterday. Around $660 for frame.

I have $1000 to spend.

Probably intend to get an IC berlin frame (with Hoya lens) and prescriptive shade lens (any brand will do) for my old Rayban frame from Sin Chew @ Thomson Plaza.

My degree is abt 350 each side, with astig 100 each side.

Is that enough?

Managed to try them on? Do they have a wide range or just a few pieces? Im looking at the S80 series with the curvy temples. The arms look a bit short, and not sure whether how heavy the frames are. May consider only if i really have lots of spare cash to try out its design & comfort level.

wow, where you get that spare cash from? You won lottery or taken bonus? Your $1,000 should be able to just nicely pay for it, maybe even some few dollars change left from your $1k dollar note =:p

Hi guys, I am trying to search for the brand/model of the spectacle that is used by Chuck on Chuck Season 2 Ep 20 Chuck versus the first kill. Where Chuck wears the thick black spectacle frame to go for the auditing test.

Below is the URL, sorry, think I can't post picture.
thus spake drake: Chuck versus the First Kill - Trust, Trust, Trust.

Anyone know what model and or brand is he wearing? Thanks.

Just collected my specs!

The optician gave me a piece of paper with such info. Anyone can decipher what it means and whether the lens is any good?

I went Johor aeon Bukit indah to make a spectacle. Cost me 510rm to make a 1.67 index and a Titus frame. My degrees is 850 degree and 325 astigmatism. In Singapore would easily cost me $300 just for the Len only

since i already have a IC Berlin Hamilton and Tag Reflex, shd i go for Porsche frames instead for a change?
And if it is Porsche, then going Sin Chew may not make sense since i remember they dont carry that brand.
