some tidbits for oakley lovers..was going thru the oakley website..

12/20/2007 - Ballistic M Frames made the difference

"I was injured in Iraq on June 9th by an IED attack which left me 70% 2nd and 3rd degree burns. I was wearing a pair of ballistic Oakleys at the time of the attack and they saved my eyes from the blast. Your product is helping protect all military forces that wear them."

12/20/2007 - Great Gear

"Me and my soldiers were hit with a roadside bomb (IED) that breached the hull of our vehicle. I was wearing Half Jackets when we were hit and the solider sitting next to me was wearing his M-Frames. We were both wearing your mountain bike gloves as well. We received 1st degree burns to our faces, except where the glasses were, and 2nd degree burns in between our gloves and uniforms. The protective gear saved our eyes as well as our hands."

i think this is like zeniths bro..

they are called the squadras

Tag-Heuer-Squadra-5501-Sunglasses-Red--Black--Grey.jpg

"The Tag Heuer 5505 Squandra sunglass is a curved visor style frame with Tag's bendy arms, designed for outstanding comfort and fit. The Squadra range is a brand new collection introduced by Tag, so be one of the first to get your hands on these stylish sunglasses, with red accents!
The Squadra 5505 has a small Tag Heuer logo on the temple, set into the rubber arms."

if you look closely the temple part is different.. looks abit stronger. then the zeniths

Have to agree, tag design looks great and to be honest, I like them alot (except the price)

but back to the fact, tag isnt really a sunglass maker. thats why i feel they are still ranked with other luxury brands such as Gucci, Prada, etc only when it comes to sunglasses

orh if talking abt design, ya tag designs look like timeless classics that can wear for any occasion. Oak a bit too loud sometimes (for the juliet and penny esp).

actually tag sunnies are pretty avant garde in design, but they lack solid frames which can withstand knocks, damage and my only reason for not getting tags is because they look abit filmsy..

my opinions~

Your opinion is not totally without merit. In certain models, they have a very weak point at the part where the temples joint the front rim. Also, the rubber detiorarate quite fast in humid weather and exposure to sweat and seawater. Their lenses are not the best in optics and in my book over-priced.

The good is that they are rather light and comfortable.
